And yet, Fox is the only network on which one can hear a conservative opinion EVER. I'm not surprised that the wholly liberal networks that dominate the news media don't receive any heat for being no less biased than Fox.; those rose tinted glasses are a mite too popular these days.
The nationalizations were an emergency intervention to patch up the disasters caused by deregulation. After Reagan in the US (& Tatcher in the UK) the world turned brutally to the right. Income taxes went down, unions were pulverized, pensions got worse, social security went down the pipes. I don't think I'm being very smart or insightful here. Many articles discuss this trend.
Many gop Senators and people like them will next want our military to take pay cuts and lose there pensions. Next the police, fireman ect... shame shame on them. Soulless Evildoer fools. They are like sheep to the rich, foolish in thought and mind spineless jellyfish,is what they are.
So what's the point here? That Fox News is a conservative network? No question there, but let's put the same question to ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN. Those are all far more left than FN is right.
Problem is, they don't even ask that question. It's "understood" that a majority of the news organizations are left wing. And that's "OK"?
In the last 20 years the political spectrum in the US has moved substantially to the right; now it goes from the right to the center right. There may be left wing groups, but they are marginal, without any political weight. A conservative in the 60s was more to the left than a liberal now. During the Eisenhower administration the top income tax was 91%. Obama is also to the right of Nixon.
Very well stated, but I believe 100% incorrect. America has turned more Left during the past 20 years than ever.
Today, people call themselves "centrists" when they're really Leftists. Since 2001, we've given up our liberties for security. We've nationalized the banking industry, we're on the verge of nationalizing the auto industry and we call this "moving to the right"?
And all three branches of our government are controlled by the Democrat Party. How is that "leaning to the right"?
The FAUX NEWS NUTWORX. Taking about lies in advertising. There is nothing worth listening to on the SHUT UP show. Take your prozac Billy.
