Imagine , people babied these cars for years, never letting them get wet, and only driving them to shows to keep the miles low, then this happens. Id puke, i cant imagine how they feel.
Its sucks but if a hit like this damages your life or hurts your wallet.... It makes you realize that it's all materialism anyway. Some things are more important. Still unfortunate and frustrating Im sure though
As the owner of two old cars that I love, I guess it's best not to get too attached to them or any other material object, because eventually your heart gets broken big time. Something like people:-(
This is so sad to watch. I can't imagine how the owners feel having their babies damaged. Hopefully they will be able to settle with insurance quickly and get them back to their beautifully restored condition. You have my deepest sympathy.
This news is all over the Classic Car forums, and I won't be surprised if I see it in the next Hot Rod or Popular Hot Rodding magazine issues. Quite sad and it makes me sick to look at. Personally, I feel that Russo and Steele are at fault, BIG TIME.
True, but not what I'm getting at. These winds had been predicted earlier and they knew-they should have postponed it. ALSO, they should have had the vehicle's in a more secure area and NOT some $500-$1000 tents.
Ouch! Poor Pantera.....

Good thing Hagerty covered all these cars. All that's really damaged is the windshields and a couple of nicks and dents. Still could be repaired

Do you have to sign a damage waiver when you enter a car in a auction like this?

Good thing they were under the tent to stay out of the weather! They'll have to change their name to Busted Glass & Steel.

@classicautofan1 Russo & Steele didn't cause the tornado-force winds.
