  • @birnaluna nono BIG diffrence! tølt feels more like you're floating.. it's one of my favorite ways to ride :) after galloping..

  • Icelandic horses trot and tolt.

    But they will (well mine does) move into tolt first and with others I am around you have to push them to trot.

    Its a common misunderstanding for people to think Icelandic horses dont trot due to the fact that everyone talks about the tolt.

    But trust me they do trot. When mine is really excited like REALLY excited she will trot and I have to pull her out of it to get her to tolt again
