People already know the gays are treated unfairly. These people shouldn't be allowed to walk the earth and do what they do because it is harassment and in some forms, terrorism. But, because they are a church the government doesn't get involved, the one time they actually seperate church and state when they should be kicking down the doors and putting these people away for life.

I used to hate the Phelps for being incredibly ignorant and self righteous.
Now, and I can honestly say this, I feel sorry for them and anyone else who chooses to bring pain to anyone else's life.

I thought we'd have a big celebration at his funeral. Maybe hire a brass band to play "YMCA", "It's Raining Men", "Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead", etc. I also picture lots of costumes and maybe even a pot luck barbecue. (I'll bring the potato salad). Fred was completely abusive (made his 7 year old run a marathon, beat all his children, forced them to work from an early age - makes joan crawford look like mary poppins). Search Addictedtohate on google.
Sadly the children are so abused that their hate for 'fags' is the only way they can cope with the devistating abuse they suffered.
It is a very harrowing story and I don't know how Fred hasn't been banged up for the rest of his life.

I feel terribly sorry for Fred Jr - he was desperately in love with a wonderful girl when he was 17, his soulmate, but his dad called her a whore and refused to allow him to see her. It broke him completely and she ended up dying of a drugs overdose shortly after. Fred danced in front of him when he found out singing: "The whore is dead!"
Best thing to say to Fred Jr is: we totally understand about you losing Debbie Valgos - you must have found it so hard. (he now denies he knew her).
