i had this awesome moment, some guy was shooting at me, he couldnt shoot for shit, i had no ammo, so i made a suicidal run at him went slightly to his side, and calmly put my hand on his shoulder and gave him a nice neck hug with the knife :)

I liked the knife in Bad Company better, just saying... Felt more satisfying.. Knife kills in BF3 get old and boring and plus they are not worth it because half the time one your in the animation someone sees you and kills you. Just my opnion

People I've noticed there are more knife animations than there commonly are, I have over 500 kills with knife and I did one yesterday I've never done before.

Kinda like assassinating someone in Halo Reach, it looks really awesome in 1st person but it's also beastly in Reach.

I think DICE borrowed some of the best ideas from FPS'es before them, not accusing them of copying, they just put their own spin on things.

@Jawbreaker2237 I was playing recon once and had about no ammo, (my squad doesn't respond to my calls for ammo) i found a medic alone in a building, took his tags, then his kit, and sprayed down 2 guys running inside. Pretty awesome.

I miss the old knife animations. The new ones look fuckin retarded for us console players. The dog tags don't even show up for us, so our guys are grabbing air from the enemies necks. They should've had the old animations for consoles & new ones for PC.

@DementedMocha You musst stab from behind, if u play on PC, you have to equip the knife to stab, otherwise you'll do a quick knife, those take 2 to kill and don't get the tag.
