i appreciate your knowledge mark, i plan on building a set and found it much less convoluted than i thought. Is it possible to get the google sketchup file for this though so i can change a few things to it for a new tv show i'm producing? It'd save me a lot of time! :)
hi mark i would love to build this set i was wondering if you have a more detailed description of the materials and the assembly of the set i would appreciate it very much:)
hi mark, im planning on building a set for a music video! and i was wondering if you could give me a list of how much of each style of wood you bought so i could kinda price how mine would end up costing!
Please post more and more set building ideas and videos. Billythefucknut simply needs to skip such videos if he does not like em. There are plenty of us who see them as extremely valuable.
Mark I am upset that you didn't ask me to even help! What gives? I thought I was your fav from AZ.... well at I cant complain since you always at least post the videos...
What do you do with the stuff afther the shoot(s)??? and your previous shoots with backdrops that you build? do you recycle some of the stuff by painting them over or sell them ??
Just out of curiosity ;) keep posting these vids! I can appreciate them! :-)
@Michel8704 Almost everything is used again on later sets. These large gray panels will become the walls to our DP1on1 set. The floor was the workbench in the former vids. Before that they were the stage for a Valentines Day shoot. On on it goes...
@BillytheFucknut Sorry you don't find them valuable. :) This is what we've been working on for the past couple of weeks and we've had a lot of questions about the process. We simply post vids based on our current work. "Normal" vids heading your way very soon (shot on these sets). We're also trying to show people why it takes a bit before the new vids show up: we're working hard to create them. Thanks for your patience.
@snapfactory There's an easy solution for those who don't what to see these videos from behind the scenes... don't watch them... I for one find them not only informative, but particularly in the case of the time-lapse, enjoyable in an almost artistic way. Keep it up Mark - I'm sure there are more who like the behind the scenes than do not.

I enjoy the set building videos, I wouldn't know how to build a simple, inexpensive set, but now I do, with Mark's help.

Think I like the other videos a lil better. They cover the process showing the start and end product. This one was very basic... my 2 cents

hey mark,
i love your work,
i love your videos
BUT
you need to stop posting these "set videos"
i see that there is a new video from snapfactory and i think its the new videos but its these.
the first couple were interesting but now it has become an unnecessary tease.
thanks
