Then why not streamline communication and help victims of terrorism? Why destroy the Constitution? Why keep writing laws upon laws when the Constitution is all we need?
At its heart, the Patriot Act streamlines communications between varying agencies that can work together to investigate terrorist activities. It also provides for easier and less cumbersome means of investigation and surveillance. The Act also provides increased funding for victims of terrorist attacks and their families, as well as for the rebuilding of business and infrastructure that are damaged by terrorism.
@retsnom92 Surely you jest. What part of "it's in clear violation of both our 1st. & 4th. Amendment rights" do you not understand?
Regardless of what lofty goals it seeks to reach to secure our SAFETY, the Patriot Act strips fundamental guarantees from the Constitution.
If allowed to stand, the USPA will permanently amend the Constitution; castrating the Freedom of Speech, allowing warrant-less searches & seizures, & relinquishes your privacy in your personal papers.
@retsnom92 I am sorry to use this analogy. I do not mean it personally, it is just a simile. I have heard people say Hitler was not all bad, he did make a great road system.
The patriot act practically erases half of the constitution. Some small good can't possibly compensate for that.
They do still issue use judges to get permission to arrest you. But if your a terrorist then they don't need one. I dont think the government wil be raiding any one of us anytime soon unless you south to them "Hey i have a nuke in my house!".
I love Judge Napolitano!!! 5 stars and thanks for posting the video bryanxt, I was there, 4 rows back on the left side of the room,it was standing room only, people were standing out in the Halls to hear the speakers. what a great day!
Why can't we have a President like this Judge? Why do we stuck with the most corrupted and moronic government and dissent people have no chance to participate in the Government?
I want to hit "like" for THE Judge a million times!

'Why can't we have a president like this Judge?' You ask? We could have had one: Ron Paul. The GOP voting base chose John McCain instead.
