@actor83 Yeah Wayne kind of accidentally remade that song with this. He didn't mean to and so he had no idea he was doing it, but he had to pay big royalties. So technically this song was so close they considered it a cover.
@TheCubicleNinja up until '65 the beatles were the jonas brothers of the sixties. from rubber soul on, they made innovative, beautiful, deeply influential, textured music, the range and volume of which has never been matched to this day.
@bonhambaker Lol the jonas brothers are nothing compared to the beatles. The jonas bros. only had one genre of music and the beatles were their own genre of music.
@TheCubicleNinja watch it dude dill is entitled to his oppinion and who are you to act like that cubicle ninja. but freal tho it is litterally impossible for you like the flaming lips and not like the beatles i would immagine someone that is on this page would know a lil more about music.
@TheCubicleNinja naw im not mad i just think you should know better than to even try to compare the beatles to the jonas brothers. jus curious what makes you say that? a few dudes in a band makes suddenly makes them a disney channel band
@TheCubicleNinja LOL, the reason why they were great though is because they were the jonas brothers and all of the contemporary music bands that now exist (like this one), from the 60s.
You know, the Flaming Lips had both a similar melody and something of the same theme- when to stand up for yourself, as Cat Stevens' song, "Father and Son". Their producer noticed the similarity and they had to pay partial royalties to Stevens afterward.
Me and friend were alittle high the other night and listened to this song. Quite an experience.

@TheCubicleNinja the beatles triped acid on a regular basis and wrote music way out side of the box. kinda reminds you of the flaming lips don it?
