The best thing of Erik's flutes is that they are so easy to play that you can be a flute player with a good skill in a few hours! Your skills in flute playing grows as fast as this bamboo of the video. The melodic scale of some Erik's flutes give you ready to play songs by just open and down the scale. I've buyed the Kung Fu flute and since it arrives to now (it arrives last December 17), no one can tell that I am a one week flute player! I recommend you to give it a try and buy a flute.
hey Erik i am also a flute player as well as maker my teacher being Joseph fire crow of the Cheyenne nation i was wondering if you would take a look at my videos and comment on them about what you think of my music :) i enjoy your videos so keep it up
Thank you for playing a bit without the reverb. Obviously the reverb sounds good, but most people buying your flutes aren't going to be playing with a reverb, so it's nice to hear what they might sound like without the electronics.
@MrExcogitate It might be great, but I must say flutes are loudest in the dead of night in your bedroom. They are the quietest outside, and but for the best of them almost silent by a busy roadway. Also of note is that the sound comes out the end of the flute, so when that's pointed at the camera, the sound is probably a bit better. Just some thoughts.
@quietthomas I can tell you that the flute I received from Erik is really loud. I never tried to play on the road, but I'm sure that I could be heard even in rush hour. But the flute is, like Erik says, "after the rush hour effect"... relaxing! Just to share my thoughts too! :)
Just rec'd Erik's Cascabel Set in today's mail. What a bargain and what a great cause/project it helps support. The 5 flutes are gorgeous, and I have learned to make a few notes already, and can tell that they all will have wonderful sound. Now, as I prepared to shut down my pc for the night, I learn that Erik just uploaded this YT video. What a great way to end my day. Loved the video, the music, the bamboo, and sharing some virtual time with Erik once again. Namaste
Hahaha!!! I am proud to be a customer of Erik's flutes! This video is very nice even without reverb. Very fun to see Erik amazed with the growing of bamboo! Thank you for one more video!
@deezynar Thanks. I am familiar with the Dremel, but though this tool might have a name particular to (as opposed to descriptive of) its function. I appreciate your response.
I just can't wait until I get the vivaldi. I ordered it a couple weeks ago. Honestly I'm gonna love playing it.

@MrExcogitate I agree, and I actually prefer them without the reverb. They sound great either way though.

Nice, as per your usual standard. What does one call that tool you are using at the beginning?

@cbrusharmy
It's a high speed rotary engraver w/ a flexible shaft. One brand is Dremel.
Erik doesn't usually reply on YouTube so I butted in, I hope you don't mind.
