How to create a simple, fading image slideshow in Flash

Brilliant, thank you so much. I've been trying to work out how to fade out on a slideshow. Your tutorial was very clear and showed me step by step. I've only just acquired Flash and I thought I would be able to work it out myself! How wrong I was...

This is the best video on YouTube to show you how to create a simple fading slideshow in Flash!

Please pay attention to the last step of fading as I clicked on the wrong keyframe to make alter the alpha value to 0 for the fade out effect. Click on the last keyframe in the transition period instead of the first one as the alpha value is 0 at the first frame in the previous transitions.
