I test drove this car yesterday (DSG). It is an excellent car, doesn't matter what ANYONE says. Yes the Golf R is 4Motion & this isn't, but this is still faster around a track only because it gets more power to the wheels. I would recommend this car for you all. go test drive one! This thing sounds so nice & looks GREAT inside and out.

@aetommyboy i agree, i was dissapointed to hear that it was only FWD, however, many reviewers have said that Scirocco R handles the power really well, and produces very little understeer, so all in all, it looks great and handles very well :)

Awesome car... i only got the 1.4TSI R-line with 160hp still much better then my 1.6 16v Leon ... which also had a nice interieur ... sport leather ETC but this is around 3-4 times better just gotta love the rocco

i have the scirocco 1.4 tsi, white with the panoramic roof (black). it's an awesome looking car... cost me 310000 euros in portugal, seemed way too expensive for a 1.4, but you have never seen an 1.4 like this one... 166 bhp in a 1.4 is a great accomplishment, and it sounds great too. everytime i'm on the street i see people looking at it, it's a headturner.
