It seems that no one addressed the point, because O'Reilly very successfully deflected. O'Reilly claimed that Stewart took the clip out of context, and the entire discussion became about context. The point Stewart originally made was that O'Reilly blatantly lied. He said he never called protesters loons, even though there was video of him doing just that. Regardless of the context, Bill O'Reilly still said exactly what he claimed not to have said.
@ignbtd Set passive-aggressive statements like 'despite your trying to draw one' to the side for a moment, what is your definition of the political left? SIMULTANEOUSLY EVERYONE takes Stewert's side on the O'Reilly/Stewert thing, a HUGE battlefront for the liberals. ..and YES it was used wayyyy out of context. why on earth does CNN think they can and more importantly, SHOULD defend this?

4. Do you believe freedom of speech should be controlled by those who know better than you loons?
If you answered NO to any of the above, we are perfectly justified in calling you loons an national TV, because we are fair and balanced, and the proof of that is, 'because it says so on TV'.
Thank God for their journalistic impartiality and courage.
That's a declarative statement of documentation resulting from 'surveys'. I'd love to see the 'journalism' Bill claims exists. Is it POSSIBLE that once again, he lied?
what kind of survey tries to find out whether protesters are "loons" or not? it was obviously made up, like always when a news achor mentions some kind of survey or uses the phrase "according to experts"...
Every time I see rivalries between Jon Stewart and these news anchors, I always revel in the fact that a comedian, whose job is to NOT be serious, is being compared to a JOURNALIST, who has an actual duty to be straight.
Every time i watch this i can't help but laugh at O' reilly's "Rebutle" It means the exact same thing any way you spin it. I'd REALLY like to meet the guy issuing these surveys Bill.
@shoes1922 2 weeks late on this response, but I just gotta say, that that will never happen. TDS has tried lots of times to call, ask, beg, and even provoke Beck onto the show, but hes never done it and he never will. Fox News learned their lesson years ago not to let their people near Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, because neither of them can be outwitted by anyone at Fox News. The ONLY one allowed to even talk to them is Oreilly, who's the least crazy of all of them.
It's because of the calm 3rd person analysis of events as seen in this clip that I am a CNN fan. I feel that "Infotainment" is a real issue in the US media. People like Stewart / Colbert are comedic commentators and people who watch them know that and know to take the things they say as a "tongue and cheek" responses of news and politics from the sidelines, while people who watch Beck or O'Reilly seem to assume everything they say is fact when it tends to be a personal comment on an issue.
A handful of middle-aged, Starbucks-sucking, over-stimulated D.C. dorks, just happy to get their quaffed, trendy-glasses/hairdos on television. Way too much time on a subject that's barely worth discussing. So this is the kind of thing CNN has been doing since 90% of their audience bailed out? Makes me wonder why the other 10% are still watching.
As usual, Bill O'Reilly is on the wrong side of history, the same O'Reilly who lied to the world that "The Iraq War is going to be a cakewalk." Tell that to hundreds of thousands of families in Iraq and thousands of families in America who no longer have their children. O'Reilly's biggest "spin" is that he's "no spin". He also lied that he would "fight Andrea Mackris to the end" for suing him for sexual harassment - until he found out that she had taped his calls. He settled out of court.
Not a single person mentions that OReilly's comment WASNT taken out of context. BTW, Jon Stewart aim isn't to influence, but to entertain. Mostly by pointing out hypocrisy in the media and amongst out politicians. Also when they go to extremes to bash the other side. People often forget the difference between biased and partisan. When Stewart makes a speech at a democratic fundraiser, then i'll call him a partisan.
@Gunman610 he didn't take it out of context the clip he played says "SURVEY'S SHOW...." that itself leads to O'Reilly simply quoting. However In Context, O'Reilly is Agreeing that they are loons even if it is a small portion.
@WhoresOfTijuana Yeah, but with that context, you could say that surveys show that GOPs are gay because a small portion of them are. In other words, you could say that 'surveys say' anything because a small part of X are a member of Y.
That's completely true. Nothing that Bill said either side of that comment puts it in a different context. If anything, saying that the protesters were calling for 'retreat in the face of terror' makes it even more partisan (Like people were outside chanting 'we want 'retreat in the face of terror!'
@zieben64 'Left-wing' implies that he actively stumps for liberals/Democrats. Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, and Keith Olbermann would definitely qualify as 'left-wing'. Stewart's clearly a liberal, but while he certainly learns to the left, he doesn't sail that way. Bill O'Reilly is right wing because he constantly rails against 'liberal agendas', the 'liberal media', and 'the far left'. That Stewart feels no obligation to defend 'my side' is why he beats O'Reilly every time.
@zieben64 He's not. It's only because the right wing has been so successful at shifting the political discourse further to the extreme right since the latter Reagan years that he appears that way. If you look at the policies and beliefs of past republican presidents, even the hardliners would look centrist by current standards.
Rachel Maddow has stated that she's almost fully aligned with Eisenhower.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Hi all. Just checking in to reaffirm that Jon Stewart is a divisive partisan hack with no talents beyond amusing disaffected youthful stoners. Have a good night everyone!
Not at all. I know it may surprise you since you may not venture too far away from your demographic, but there are people who actually don't find Stewart to be witty, amusing or entertaining. When you're older, you'll probably even agree with them.
I'm sorry that you make that assumption. I probably won't agree with them when I'm older because I figure Stewart (even though he is a comic first and foremost) is very effective in calling out the absurdities in all of today's media.
But the reason I posted what I posted was because the person you replied to didn't even use "you're" they way it's intended. Wasn't trying to get into a flame war with you. But you have to be joking if you don't believe Stewart is more credible than most anchors.
@bradsmiley Stewart? More credible? Well, first off, any time he's caught in an untruth, he defends himself by saying he's "Just a Comedian." With that kind of parachute handy, there's no real motivation for him to be too credible. Compared to most of the alphabet networks, sadly, I'd say he's no LESS credible. Compared to FOX, I'd say he was a partisan hack or shill, and it's sad your ilk takes him so seriously.
@bradsmiley Those guys are extreme OPINERS. Do NOT mistake FOX's opinion segments for their news. I don't mistake this dou che bag Stewart for the news, but sadly some of your ilk does.
hey fact check him and point out where glenn or bill are wrong? bet you can find more inaccuracies between your liberal media than the guys on fox...probably why they are slamming them in ratings but I guess that's another discussion.
@bradsmiley That's what you get for listening to Jon Stewart for your news. Bachmann is SAID to have said that the census could be used to round up certain americans for internment camps, and Beck is SAID to have said the census is an attempt to increase slavery. I got these tidbits watching Colbert. ROFL.
Can't find that last comment but I'll admit I watch Fox because it's the only news network I have with my cable package... And I must say ALL of there news segments are opinion based.
@bradsmiley You "ain't" watching their news segments then. Common mistake. Comes from being prejudiced. Note to the beginners--"Kelly's Court" and "Fox & Friends" are talk segments with lots of opinions you lefties don't want to hear. Advocacy of things like self-responsibility, self-reliance, and no special treatment for anyone based on race or sexual preference. Nasty stuff to hear if you're a CNN/TDS Jon Stewart fan.
take responsibility for your self say what?!?!? no way these hippies want to live at there parents house and mooch off of them until they are old and grey and blame "the man" for not getting off their lazy ass and bettering their own lives.
Dude I just want to watch some news. When I was a child I don't remember watching these commentators, I remember watching investigative journalism. It's sad that doesn't exist anymore and networks like fox claim to be fair an balanced. If you notice Stewart makes fun of both the left and right. I'm sorry you're brainwashed, really I am.
Hatfisc: The "intelligent elites"? When did using one's intelligence become a sign of elitism? Stewart's goal is observe the humor that is found in the inconsistent tirades of so many public figures, conservative and liberal. And to label fans as "stoners" is just false - to be educated does not make one a "stoner", just elitist (according to your standards).
Not sure which is worse, Stewart or his moonbat fans. Here they are, laughing at O'Reilly for calling protestors loons. Somehow, Stewart and company are fine calling Tea Partiers "loons" though. I'll never understand liberal politics.
@snoobeagle Most of his viewers know what he Jon meant. Jon was pointing at the choice of organization that Bill used in his segment. Bill himself didn't provide the clear context for the comment "loons" to be neutrally made.
Also, Daily Show fans are there to have fun. They wait in line all day to enjoy a COMEDY show. I'll never understand how some people can take comments like this seriously. It is disingenuous to the actual understanding of issues like this.
Jon Stewart is a partisan hack. Whenever he gets cornered on his hypocrisy, he and his sac-dwelling fans explain it away as "He's only a comedian." When he "does good" on the other hand, he "Destroys those political pundits." What a do-uche-bag.
I have watched Stewarts show for a very long time, and I've watch Bill's. Tell me, how does the balance of thought vs. emotion work for you when it comes to critical thinking?
@Deeprive Wow, that's quite a spin you've put on the "loons" explanation. Just ambiguously nonsensical enough to make people say.. uhh..what? As for Daily Show fans and their "good time", follow a few blogs, and even youtube postings, you'll see they take Jonnyboy, and the defense of him deadly seriously. As for balancing thought and emotion in critical thinking, irrelevant--all that matters in civil life is FAIRNESS, which by definition, precludes emotion.
It's adorable that you can just label an argument without actually arguing against it ;)
Emotion should rarely be involved in critical thinking. Using emotions in an argument can make you go from understanding something to just spewing words out for whatever observation you make (because god forbid that your mental sieve IS NOT effective).
Not an empty insult, it actually is pretty consistent of Stewert. Stewert will spin a political story like anyone else but he uses wit with his ridicule to influence his viewing demographic. What do you think Olbermann and Maddow do? They try to be as witty and condescending as possible to make opposing views appear to be out of touch with the intellegent elites. Thats why you see FOX attack politicians and MSNBC attack the private citizens who vote Republican. Interesting difference.
FOX doesnt attack private citizens who vote Democrat? What about anti-Bush and anti-war protestors? What about accusing black voters of being mindlessly monolithic in voting Democrat? What about Michael J Fox being called a 'tool of the Democrats'?
But one thing people need to stop doing is accusing Jon Stewart of having an agenda. He certainly biased and there's no getting around that. But he shows more intellectual curiosity than any other interviewer. And that's kinda sad.
@Gunman610 Is not everyone from the esence of matter biased? You know you have your opinions which forms your personality. What matters is that Jon Stewart's is clearly based in reality. It would not be funny if it was not true. Find out how satire works.
And i noticed hannity, oreliiy and limbaugh nowadays will always start out with negative poll numbers about the democrats and/or Obama and spend the whole time trying to prove the poll!
But in the run up to the war when someone told them the percentage of citizens who werent cool with going to iraq, what was hannity and limbaugh and all of them saying about negative polls then?
Let me ask you this. What did the nation do in this last election? Use critical thinking or emotions to tell them who could lead the country best. This isn't about Obama but which politcal side seemed to use the best judgement and which picked a "feel good canidate?"
The woman says "Its good Bill found a new target other than Olbermann" She says this and people have the nerve to blast Fox news?! Anyone who watches Bill knows he doesn't waste time on Keith Olbermann. Keith takes time in every single show to attack O'reilly. Who is this woman trying to kid?
O'Reilly must think 2/3rds of America must be retarded or someting. Quoting a survey (about a politcal protest that he doesn't agree with) is just the same as saying it yourself, because why else would you be quoting the survey. In the words of the WATERBOYS mother he's the devil.
I agree. I used to watch The Daily Show all the time when it had Craig Kilborn. John Stewart is simply not funny, and the people who watch his show regularly actually think he is a politically savvy person.
Most influential and highest rated? Not even years ago, when he was at his own peak; he has never been close to other like Dan Rather or Tom Brokaw, if don't remember... he was ok, but then he changed, maybe he got old... but IMO Fox changed him. See the facts, there is little to discuss
hahah. O'reily proved Stewart's point. John said to be FAIR those are the protesters he disagrees with. and now Bill says OH those are anti- Bush protesters that I disagree with and they are loons. Stewart, great work as always
The greatest thing about this, the absolute greatest thing, is that that clip wasn't even taken out of context!! Haha he called the people who were protesting loons because they didn't agree with his agenda!! Come on man, you can't have this guy spewing this stuff anymore, seriously, someone needs to sort this out
He called them "loons" because they were being violent and out of control, not because he disagreed with what they were protesting. By shortening the clip to only a sound byte and changing the surrounding words, he took it "out of context."
where have you been the last 40 years? The liberal left and its 20 or more loony groups have had a monopoly on protesting since Jimmy Hendrix. Conservatives are too busy working and contributing to society to protest for tree frogs and imaginary global warming. Now conservatives have something to protest and liberals are losing their minds! To them a grass-roots cause involves baby killers, gays, race baitors and femi-nazi's.
Yup. Can't stand the black man. We should have brought an end to this madness with Jackie Robinson. Now the flood gates are open and we might start noticing that there are black people around. One minute Fox news is telling me I'm safe from black people then look what happens! Deep down we all know this guy is perfect, except for the 50% of him that's white that is!
O'Reilly, and Fox are ridiculous.... the "unwarranted hatred toward successful people" mean people successful at undermining what the GOP is (true Reagan conservatives) for a Neo Con Agenda.... like Sarah Palin buying 50,000 copies of her own books (and not using any of her own money to do it) - then giving the books away..... fortunately, they have the Supreme Court to "balance" Justice and screw the American people in general... I left America LONG AGO...its getting the Democracy it deserves.
What are you going off about? I said that as a reply to someone else's comment. I'm glad that you left the US though... Maybe you should try to move on and infect Japanese politics with your goddamned quackery.
I'm glad that you left the US though... Maybe you should try to move on and infect Japanese politics with your goddamned quackery.
And you enjoy THE WORST GODDAMN HEALTHCARE in the FREAKING WORLD...enjoy the gunshots, prison population, and a Supreme Court that opened up the door for Corporations to own the next decade of Senate Elections , dumbf%&k. QUACK QUACK QUACK, mother%&ker. LMAO. .... my average wait in a clinic in japan, LESS THAN 30 min. ENJOY ......
You have a problem with palin buying 50,000 copies of her book? Do you have a problem with the New York Times purposely denying O'reilly his no.1rank in book sales for an author who works for the NYT? The numbers clearly showed that Bill's sales had been well above anyone else's. Thats just plain dishonest.
O'Reilly was once interviewing people about gay marriage and said a "government survey" showed that after legalizing gay marriage in Sweden,(I think it was Sweden, this was a while ago) the number of heterosexual marriages dropped precipitously and he asked pro-gay marriage people to comment. However, it was later pointed out that gay marriage had not been legalized in Sweden which means he couldn't have been referring to an actual survey. He is a pathological liar and hopes no one will notice
Hahaha. I love how you rail on O'Reilly for not checking his facts, then you give some half-assed anecdote. "Der, I think it was Sweden." Why don't you do some fact checking yourself, dumbshit.
I did what O'Reilly should do but never does; admit it if I'm not 100% sure of something; fact is I am sure it was a Scandanavian country, I'm 90% sure it was Sweden. But I'm 100% sure he cited a fake survey and 100% certain that it was fake because the country he was referring to had not legalized gay marriage Unlike O'reilly what I'm referring to did not emerge from my bowels.
I don't consider myself either right or left loon. but I can't help but laugh when people think the left owns the media. rupert murdoch isn't exactly left-leaning... although I suspect he has no allegiance except the dollar. and what does left mean these days, cause it changes all the time? not supporting the war, supporting gay marriage and being pro-choice.... is that really all there is. IMO, anyone calling themselves left or right is a nut.
our own Constitution tells us to be ready to keep the government in check. but apparently if you want to read and understand our own Constitution...your a loon. he gave us more of his clip and he still called them loons. how exactly did he defend himself? he did exactly what john stewert said he did. i understand if your a rich man in this country..change is a scary thing. the problem is the majority is not rich, and there ready for something loony.
Uneducated people like you make me want to vomit and shit uncontrollably for hours. I'm sorry that you're poor, but maybe someday you'll get your GED and begin to make more than minimum wage. Then, hopefully, you won't have this unwarranted hatred towards successful people.
It is no wonder why most Americans have such a blurred vision of what goes on in the world. ..........I mean REALLY go in in the world. When you take your news from cable and news stations that the World news is all about America, or what America has an interest in, you are bound to have a biased view or a biased opinion of what is going on in the world.
I actually don't accept the premise that this was "taken out of context". The context was ridiculous... that they call for the destruction of "the American system" and "retreat in the face of terrorism" are mischaracterizations and don't justify the use of the term "loons", unless your definition of "loon" is "someone who doesn't agree with me". "Surveys show" they're loons? WTF is that supposed to mean?
Anti-war is just as valid a position as, if not more so than, anti-"death panels".
@Capitalocracy i agree, Stewart's point is even more valid with the extra info. You can't call one group of protesters "loons" and then turn around and defend some other protesters just because you agree with one protester's sentiment over another. They are all protesters!!!
hyperhunk90 has such a command of the English language. He must also be gay as we know what's on his mind and what his favorite word is. Obviously well versed in Dick.
So, a "survey" had a category where people could call protestors "loons"? This is yet another case of O'Reilly talking crap, then trying to cover it up later... saying he was misinterpreted. Jon caught him yet again, that's the only real fact in this particular matter. Jon is a satirist on Comedy Central. O'Reilly tries to come off like an actual journalist... hah, what a pathetic joke!
That last guy is right, newscasters should be more willing to explain the facts more. They're a 24 hour news station they have the time to explain the issues in more depth and give us all the facts. If they don't then the people start stereotyping others and making facts up. Like these death panel accusations or the racist Republicans, it just muddies the water and doesn't make the story clear for anyone.
I love how Bill oreilly says that surveys say that most protesters are simply loons. That is the laziest and worst journalism ever. If he is one then has failed.
I'm sure you can justify the statement made about what Jesus requested from Christians somehow, so I won't ask you chapter and verse. I would also remind you what He said about harming one of his "Little ones"; how that it would be better that a millstone be hung around his neck & he be dropped in the depths of the sea.....so, how does the most aggressive abortion legislation in history the FIRST WEEK Obozo took office figure in your equation? I know what Jesus said...
That is a good point; why with all of the time that cable news has does it present complex stories in 30 sec/ 8 min segments? The American people are use to getting their news in "Catch Phrases" that can't be good.
Hellotommy: so only fox news is The only fair news outlet??? Fair and balanced??? Paris Hilton is more balanced after last call on a Saturday night....
Tell me why Fox is the only station that has reported the ACORN scandal, even though it broke last week? Would you rather continue to be "protected" by the National Barack Channel (NBC) that NEVER reports any

Gunman610 1 year ago 43
@Gunman610 he didn't take it out of context the clip he played says "SURVEY'S SHOW...." that itself leads to O'Reilly simply quoting. However In Context, O'Reilly is Agreeing that they are loons even if it is a small portion.
WhoresOfTijuana 1 year ago
@WhoresOfTijuana Yeah, but with that context, you could say that surveys show that GOPs are gay because a small portion of them are. In other words, you could say that 'surveys say' anything because a small part of X are a member of Y.
Gunman610 1 year ago
@Gunman610
That's completely true. Nothing that Bill said either side of that comment puts it in a different context. If anything, saying that the protesters were calling for 'retreat in the face of terror' makes it even more partisan (Like people were outside chanting 'we want 'retreat in the face of terror!'
jimmyspinn 1 year ago
@Gunman610 Alright, I like to listen to Stewert too. But listen, Stewert is very left wing.
zieben64 7 months ago
@zieben64 'Left-wing' implies that he actively stumps for liberals/Democrats. Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, and Keith Olbermann would definitely qualify as 'left-wing'. Stewart's clearly a liberal, but while he certainly learns to the left, he doesn't sail that way. Bill O'Reilly is right wing because he constantly rails against 'liberal agendas', the 'liberal media', and 'the far left'. That Stewart feels no obligation to defend 'my side' is why he beats O'Reilly every time.
Gunman610 7 months ago
@zieben64 He's not. It's only because the right wing has been so successful at shifting the political discourse further to the extreme right since the latter Reagan years that he appears that way. If you look at the policies and beliefs of past republican presidents, even the hardliners would look centrist by current standards.
Rachel Maddow has stated that she's almost fully aligned with Eisenhower.

Not at all. I know it may surprise you since you may not venture too far away from your demographic, but there are people who actually don't find Stewart to be witty, amusing or entertaining. When you're older, you'll probably even agree with them.
snoobeagle 1 year ago
I'm 25 and every once and awhile he's funny but most of the time he's just spinning liberal ideology
norway1516 1 year ago
I'm sorry that you make that assumption. I probably won't agree with them when I'm older because I figure Stewart (even though he is a comic first and foremost) is very effective in calling out the absurdities in all of today's media.
But the reason I posted what I posted was because the person you replied to didn't even use "you're" they way it's intended. Wasn't trying to get into a flame war with you. But you have to be joking if you don't believe Stewart is more credible than most anchors.
bradsmiley 1 year ago
@bradsmiley Stewart? More credible? Well, first off, any time he's caught in an untruth, he defends himself by saying he's "Just a Comedian." With that kind of parachute handy, there's no real motivation for him to be too credible. Compared to most of the alphabet networks, sadly, I'd say he's no LESS credible. Compared to FOX, I'd say he was a partisan hack or shill, and it's sad your ilk takes him so seriously.

I'm getting the impression you find Glenn Beck and ol' Bill to be credible.

hey fact check him and point out where glenn or bill are wrong? bet you can find more inaccuracies between your liberal media than the guys on fox...probably why they are slamming them in ratings but I guess that's another discussion.
norway1516 1 year ago
Didn't Glenn Beck recently claim that the 2010 Census was all a big scam perpetuated by President Obama?
bradsmiley 1 year ago
@bradsmiley That's what you get for listening to Jon Stewart for your news. Bachmann is SAID to have said that the census could be used to round up certain americans for internment camps, and Beck is SAID to have said the census is an attempt to increase slavery. I got these tidbits watching Colbert. ROFL.

Hatfisc: The "intelligent elites"? When did using one's intelligence become a sign of elitism? Stewart's goal is observe the humor that is found in the inconsistent tirades of so many public figures, conservative and liberal. And to label fans as "stoners" is just false - to be educated does not make one a "stoner", just elitist (according to your standards).
travelingtales 1 year ago 3
Not sure which is worse, Stewart or his moonbat fans. Here they are, laughing at O'Reilly for calling protestors loons. Somehow, Stewart and company are fine calling Tea Partiers "loons" though. I'll never understand liberal politics.
snoobeagle 1 year ago
@snoobeagle Most of his viewers know what he Jon meant. Jon was pointing at the choice of organization that Bill used in his segment. Bill himself didn't provide the clear context for the comment "loons" to be neutrally made.
Also, Daily Show fans are there to have fun. They wait in line all day to enjoy a COMEDY show. I'll never understand how some people can take comments like this seriously. It is disingenuous to the actual understanding of issues like this.
Deeprive 1 year ago
Jon Stewart is a partisan hack. Whenever he gets cornered on his hypocrisy, he and his sac-dwelling fans explain it away as "He's only a comedian." When he "does good" on the other hand, he "Destroys those political pundits." What a do-uche-bag.
snoobeagle 1 year ago
@snoobeagle Wrong. Really all I have to say.
I have watched Stewarts show for a very long time, and I've watch Bill's. Tell me, how does the balance of thought vs. emotion work for you when it comes to critical thinking?
Deeprive 1 year ago
@Deeprive Wow, that's quite a spin you've put on the "loons" explanation. Just ambiguously nonsensical enough to make people say.. uhh..what? As for Daily Show fans and their "good time", follow a few blogs, and even youtube postings, you'll see they take Jonnyboy, and the defense of him deadly seriously. As for balancing thought and emotion in critical thinking, irrelevant--all that matters in civil life is FAIRNESS, which by definition, precludes emotion.
snoobeagle 1 year ago
It's adorable that you can just label an argument without actually arguing against it ;)
Emotion should rarely be involved in critical thinking. Using emotions in an argument can make you go from understanding something to just spewing words out for whatever observation you make (because god forbid that your mental sieve IS NOT effective).
Deeprive 1 year ago
@Deeprive So with your rhetorical babble there, is there an argument?
snoobeagle 1 year ago

Deeprive 1 year ago
@Deeprive Who's trying to be witty? Well, besides Jon Stewart, and failing miserably with anyone who isn't stoned.
snoobeagle 1 year ago
And another empty insult, you're as consistent as you are idiotic :)
Deeprive 1 year ago
Not an empty insult, it actually is pretty consistent of Stewert. Stewert will spin a political story like anyone else but he uses wit with his ridicule to influence his viewing demographic. What do you think Olbermann and Maddow do? They try to be as witty and condescending as possible to make opposing views appear to be out of touch with the intellegent elites. Thats why you see FOX attack politicians and MSNBC attack the private citizens who vote Republican. Interesting difference.
hatfisc 1 year ago
FOX doesnt attack private citizens who vote Democrat? What about anti-Bush and anti-war protestors? What about accusing black voters of being mindlessly monolithic in voting Democrat? What about Michael J Fox being called a 'tool of the Democrats'?
But one thing people need to stop doing is accusing Jon Stewart of having an agenda. He certainly biased and there's no getting around that. But he shows more intellectual curiosity than any other interviewer. And that's kinda sad.
Gunman610 1 year ago 49
@Gunman610 Is not everyone from the esence of matter biased? You know you have your opinions which forms your personality. What matters is that Jon Stewart's is clearly based in reality. It would not be funny if it was not true. Find out how satire works.

where have you been the last 40 years? The liberal left and its 20 or more loony groups have had a monopoly on protesting since Jimmy Hendrix. He is a pathological liar and hopes no one will notice
chomsky88 2 years ago 7

I did what O'Reilly should do but never does; admit it if I'm not 100% sure of something; fact is I am sure it was a Scandanavian country, I'm 90% sure it was Sweden. That last guy is right, newscasters should be more willing to explain the facts more. They're a 24 hour news station they have the time to explain the issues in more depth and give us all the facts.
