A beautiful rendition of my favorite raga. Though Pandit Ravi Shankar is far from my favorite sitar virtuoso (I prefer more obscure masters like Ustad Kabir Khan), this is breathtaking.

Great music and great sitar playing! I don't know enough about the raga form to comment intelligently, just that it allows for improvisation over a certain tune structure, but I like the rhythm and the sliding tones and the whole effect - both like and unlike guitar. The only problem with the video is that it stopped before the piece was done.
Beautiful how the rythmic stepping sound takes you right up the Chakras, nice!!!!
