Corsola fulfills a support position on my team. Mirror Coat is, in fact, also for self-defense, to KO opposing Pokémon in order to stay on the field longer.

Corsola's stats make it unsuitable for use as an attack Pokémon. See for yourself.

No, you don't trade or transfer. Pokémon are copied over if you want to use DS Pokémon on PBR.

No. An Uber is a Pokémon deemed to have an advantage over other Pokémon. They're banned from competitive play, including most tournaments.

Most Ubers are Legendary, but Wobbuffet and Garchomp, of course, are not. Likewise, there are fewer Uber Legendaries than non-Uber Legendaries.

With your examples, Giratina is an Uber, but Heatran is in OU (meaning it's roughly equal with the likes of Infernape and Gyarados, among others).

It's all confusing to me. XP I've recently gotten into the competitive play myself and my first match was against a guy who claimed himself to be a 'Gym Leader'.

He beat me twice, so I still have a lot to learn. I'll beat him someday though. Those legendary Pokemon are kinda intimadating though.

I never got into competitive play. I'm not a competitive person, so I'd rather watch it form afar. However, I do know that competitive players will often use one or two Legendary Pokémon on their team, such as Azelf or Zapdos, as most are done through battle simulators where you don't have to worry about, say, your Suicune being the wrong Nature.

Garchomp is now Uber, so you won't be seeing him too often. Nevertheless, there are a lot of OU Legendaries, like Celebi, Jirachi, Azelf, Suicune, Zapdos, Heatran, and Shaymin Sky Forme. And they're all very populkar according to Shoddy Battle's statistics (except Shaymin Sky Forme, who's too new).

I didn't mean to use the Kyogre. I primarily use it just to set up Rain Dance. And also, Manaphy was never used. Yes, my win was unfair, but not completely horrible.

I wouldn't say "unfair", as:

1) Overhazard managed to defeat your Kyogre

2) Overhazard is used to seeing Ubers, and is using the team with our favorite Uber-killers (Post and Negan)

and

3) Kyogre's Drizzle doesn't give any boost that is different than that of a Rain Dance; it just lasts indefinitely.

Were you fighting someone else, then I might say "unfair." In Overhazard's case, it might just be a challenge.

But I'd leave the final word on whether that win was fair or not to Overhazard.

Because I don't like the Defense and Special Defense drop for Close COmbat on someone like Lucario. Bulky guys like Machamp and Hariyama, I'll be fine with, or if I'll put a Focus Sash on them, but not with Lucario.

You realize Lucario isn't meant to take hits, right? You're sacrificing damage and accuracy on a speedy sweeper, and that's never a good idea.

Yes, I know. Lucario has had many close calls before, and if I had used Close Combat, that'd be a straight up knockout.

Since I use this team for the single-player mode, I can't give Lucario a Focus Sash, as Plusle already has one.

In addition, I saw a Machamp use Cross Chop in the Silver version, and for the longest time, I wanted to put Cross Chop on somebody. I have more fun with Cross Chop than I do with Close Combat, and fun is 100% of the reason I play Pokémon.
