I thought Tun Tun was only fit for mocking and being laughed at BUT I am wrong
what a gifted voice and I feel sad that she has not been projected widely and openly as a gifted singer, also sad she might not have been even paid well those days.
Her TOOFANMAIL song one alone will do which she deserves a GOLD MEDAL!
@krhapa but my information is hundred percent correct.there is no doubt that this movie has music of the famous music director naushad ali (and not nashaad) and the lyricist is without any doubt shakil badayuni.
i saw the movie many times and also never heard or read anybody else than these 2 as music director and lyricist.
u may search on net or watch the movie to clear the doubts.
@atiullah97 thanks ati,i am sure everybody knows now.i made changes because of the previous writer swsnaqvi,i hope you will note and answer him back.the data bank is full of mistakes.
@swsnaqvi plz dont spread misinformation mr naqwi.the music director of this movie is naushad ali and lyricist is shakil badayuni.and i am 101 percent correct.
i wonder how can u spread such wrong information without any basis/proof
I agree with your comments. One thing that makes old songs different from the newer ones is that they contain poetry of immense depth. They don't write poetry like they used to.
A song of great nostalgic value to my generation and those older. The very simplicity, the relative lack of technical sophistication, and a restrained use of orchestra in such sweet songs reflected,as it were, the general frugality of old times. Radio waves in those years were filled with such melodies. Thanks, krhapa.
