F1 needs to return to v10s or v12s. Using v8s in the sport takes away from F1 being the most technological motorsport. Even though part of it is because want to cut emissions (which is also bullshit) by using v8s, turbocharge them and they can have even better emissions with the same relative power output. Considering only 3% of greenhouse emissions are due to all cars and 18% is agriculture for raising livestock, you tell me -cut vehicle emissions or cut meat consumption to combat the issue?

@petrolhead1980 I believe it'll be at 1.6 v6 at 16,000 rpm, the Honda RA168-E, that Senna drove to his first WDC was a 1.5L (I think) v6 turbo at 12,500rpm... all hope isn't completely lost. They'll still make a nice noise :) Granted it won't be the v10s (which for my money sounded better than the v12s) but it won't be nearly as bad as you think.
