i remember as a kid i would never get head lice. i was way too dirty. i would go and bath and the next i was covered in dust and mud. i brother was always clean and neat. he could pick the lice's on his own.

had sore on neck for 6 wks.thought it was a zit so kept picking.saw white thing come and go as i picked.dr said i had head lice & adament that nothing was in the sore.she got mad at me because i insisted there was. dr wrote a prescription.used it yesterday.seemed to get rid the bumbs on my head but after using the medicine I started picking lice out of the sore.I'm still picking lice out. Put vaseline over the spot and that covers the microscopic air hole they rely on. They will come out for air. Leave a fair amount on for a few hours and they will be starved of oxygen

Shaving your head isn't recommended, this is the second time I've had lice in my 20 year's, I don't understand why you guys think its some type of higenic problem. Anyone is vulnerable to lice, its only a matter of treating it, or picking them out. The wet comb did it for me, after 2 days of brushing them away with a special comb worked perfectly.

I recently noticed that the back of my head was far to itchy to be ignored, did research, and now im freacking out. I will try the "Bug Busting", brushing a wet comb through your hair, when showring. The hard thing will be cleaning up the clothes, couch and bed. Any tips?
