Our grandparents could not go outside during certain times, Jews were forbidden to dance or celebrate in Yemen, we had to pay heavy taxes, some Muslims were nice others never liked Jews, we had to dress differently and all Jewish worship had to be inside a house, not outside. I know this because my great-grandmother was born in Yemen.
