  • Is that a C3? Or a G series Yamaha?

  • very smooth, very nice, great voicings, very musical, not too much showboatin

  • id love to know what chords you used in this video.just love your style

  • MAN Gotoemighty!!! lol

  • You must have strong fingers for being able to play so high up on the keys.

  • @LiiChinHo lol yamahas have pretty nice actions too

  • nice rendition of His Name is Wonderful

I do not personally admire jazz- but this is a nicer sound than some. Your hand position seems a little awkward, but maybe that's the camera angle. It sure would be nice to have a grand. I'm thinking that must be a goal all pianists would have. :)

  • Abstractchords...That's real nice!!!! Much respect; for the sound of the "acoustic' piano seem to have faded in the present day of technological advancement. You play extremely well. May the blessing continue and continue in abundance!

  • just love your style your a great player.

  • You got it all, man!

And you did a perfect job in presenting the Grand Piano. I now know, that I prefer YAMAHA at least over Kawai!

You perfectly showed, "what's inside it" :-))

  • They should chop your fingers off.

  • Amazing.

  • the sing is MORE MORE MORE, I NEED MORE FROM YOU.

  • someone has to make a video cover in piano of this pice

  • "Dasss sweet"

    I second that!

  • I'm sure this is one of the best piano videos in youtube!

  • was that he's the holy one?

  • that run at :08 is sick

  • Tell me about it. I was trying to watch his fingers to learn it, but he moves too damn fast. lol

  • hey..likin ur style man..i've just started playing piano myself. was wandering if you cud tell me the notes in the 2 chords of the progression at 1.23 - 1.24 plz.

  • I think the progression is F sharp major with an added major second in the middle (F sharp, A sharp, C sharp plus a central G sharp) followed by E major with an added major seventh (E, G sharp, B plus a central D sharp), both chords in root position. But I'm not a jazz-trained musician, I'm just a classical pianist who is only just beginning to discover jazz. By the way, full-sized Yamaha pianos are the best, although of course there are some fine Steinways around.

  • Wonderful, you wouldn't happen to play at Marvin Winans church would you?

  • oh man. Don't tell me you're looking at buying that?

If you're going to buy one, do yourself a favor, Steinway or Baldwin. Both very good, and sound very very full. Makes that Yamaha sound like a child's toy :)

  • i agree. i would say the Yamaha's sound is bright and "dry". Ultimate Kawai would be a Steinway. Nontheless, ultimate Yamaha would be a C. Bechstin, or a Schimmel. makes sense

  • That scale between 0:07 and 0:08 was crazy!!!

  • steinway pianos are the best!

  • ((No way: Bosendorfer pianos are the best. I've seen pianists break Steinways playing Liszt)) This video is amazing!

  • i've viewed many organists, keyboardists on here, and everytime i think i see the best, here comes one that is better than before, but i must say you are the smoothest, and i love your style, it is classy, and articulate if that is a way to describe your fingers doing the talking....where are you from? and do you play for a church?

  • im from Detroit, Michigan and yes i do play for a church

  • Man i stay on the eastside of detroit......do you give lessons

  • Say man, what were you playing on this one?

  • perfect sound :S

  • if im not mistaken the song is "I need more" or "more from you" by who?, i dont know....but i may be wrong....

  • What song are you playing towards the end?

  • Nice sound. And Nice cords. You have to have funny timi there. Greetings atti

  • you sound good on that Piano Doc

  • mannnnn my brother is just sooo sick wit it!!!

  • eh, sick!

  • nice chords man sound really nice
