With the fender tweed it came to just under $300 for all the materials. The fender tweed alone cost about $60. And again its not to heavy at all. It looks much heavier then it really is. We don't seem to have any problems with it at all. I feel more configurable with the equipment in our locked box then a plastic box you can just buy.
I got all my hardware from parts express. Well worth it, For me it was a last min idea. Thats why you didn't see it in the renderings. Thanks for the comment!
hi there, where can I buy 1/4 inch flush mount adaptors?? I'm trying to build my own pedal board. I want an easy set up. I want to just set up by plugging one cable from my guitar to the side of the pedal board and the other running from the other side of the pedal board to the amp....

You could put some rubber mat on top of the end pieces and use them as Petrucci Pillars :)
