  • Being a son of "snowbirds", I'm on this part of 1-95 every year. It's the very southeast corner of Effingham County it passes through, just before the Savannah River.

  • travel this everyday...... : )

  • Good stuff. Never been north of I-16 on I-95. Once I win the lottery, I hope that will change :-)

How many interstate-to-interstate cloverleaf loops are left? I know I-435 and I-35 in Lenexa, KS...I-480 to I-29 near Omaha...but one is too many!

  • i dont know if you would see a 4level stack there .. maybe a flyover eventually .. aadt there ? but i like the tree's here brings a good feeling that your not in the boonies with the big freeways

  • I can dream, I guess, though a flyover from IH16 West to IH95 South would be nice and/or one from IH95 South to IH16 East - there can be some terrible weaving there where the two cloverleafs meet.

  • Nice ride,

I'd agree with you, have those two flyovers you mentioned would make a world of difference at that interchange.

I get a kick out of the grand entrance to SC, welcome to 199 miles of nothing!

  • The two flyovers and an extension of the ramp from IH95 North to IH16 East also - happened past there one morning at rush hour and traffic was backed up well onto the IH95 mainline.

199 miles of nothing - I should get to film at least some of that later this year.

  • 199 Miles of Nothing: The interchange at I-26 is a cloverleaf like I-95/I-16 and the interchange with I-20 in Florence is only slightly more interesting.
