  • What a nicely despairing song... :(

  • :) I liked this episode a lot.

  • Looks like a lot of weed was smoked that night...but yeah, Commander Adama looks pissed.

  • I always found this guy really creepy lol

  • @tigereyedjames, Damn straight!

  • I'll rewrite my cantata....But you best play what I write!

    -----PHANTOM

  • Long live Swan, best record producer ever...

  • What year is this?

  • This movie looks fucking awful!!! <:-(

  • cool stuff

  • Why does Ben Cartwright look so pissed 2:27?

  • @doublemandala Lorne Greene played a Transylvanial local who thought the whole event happening a Dracula's castle was blasphemous. I remember at the end of the episode, one of the boys sees a mirror as Greene's character passes by, and he has no reflection.

  • Where on earth did you find this clip? This is AWESOME. I've always loved Phantom - had no idea Williams ever performed this song on television. What a great surprise to find this. A million thanks for posting it.

  • @poozybear It's from an episode of the 70s show "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries."

  • I love this. Thanks for posting!

  • @tigereyedjames Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • TODAY'S MUSIC SUCKS !!!!

  • lol true

  • Oh, they don't throw parties like this anymore....

  • Comment removed

  • Check it out - right at the end of the video... the fella that says "We're playing here...we're the circus".... is none other than Elton John's lyricist BERNIE TAUPIN

  • Song was also in phantom of the paradise right?

  • @HushOnHellsHorizon Yeah... If I'm not misinformed this was made 1977. Phantom was made 1974. And happens to be my favorite movie.

Wanna fight about it! Huh! ... Didn't think so...

  • Hey hey, one of my favs to. Had to special order the dvd from canada to get it!

  • ブライアン・デ・パルマ監督の最高傑作だね。

  • What is that clip from? Was that a disaproving Lorne Greene in the crowd?

  • The clip is from the 1977 TV show 'The Hardy Boys & Nancy Drew'.

  • GOOD MOVIE AND THE MUSIC AMAZING

  • Amazing song! I love this movie!

    Thank you for the upload!!!!

  • thks for upload this great song!!!

  • i got this from an IMDB link. Amazing, thanks to illjoyk. What an awesome musician Paul Williams is... Phantoms's soundtrack is really different from most of his work, and both things are great. And what is year is this? 1978? Don't you love this reckless seventies fun? :)

  • And I thought they smoked pot in the 70s! You'd need to use a shopvac for a bong to enjoy this fuckin' party. They could have at least got the extras stoned before they filmed this scene. It would have come across as more natural.

  • I wish people would have cool party's like this nowadays!!!!!!!!

  • good song

  • "My music is for Phoenix, only she can sing it.Anyone else who tries DIES!!"

  • Holy crap! I can't believe someone posted this! I haven't seen this in decades!!

  • From the hardy boys season 2 first episode. Hardy boys and nancy drew meet dracula.

  • Swan: What would you give me to sing?

    Phoenix: Anything you want.

Swan: Anything? Would you give me your voice?

  • @princezzdezz18 Beef : Its scored for chick . Swan : you can sing it better than any bitch , Beef : you said it goliath !

  • from what tv show is it taken from?

i really love the music from the phantom of the paradise, old but still good.

  • Yes, he is really brilliant, especially when he puts on the fangs and cackles with laughter.

On a side note, Commander Adama sure looks pissed off...guess he didn't get the memo that it was a halloween party in June...

  • last tune on the track/movie

we all come to say good bye....

    brilliant Paul !!!!

  • I love Paul Williams. This is brilliant.

  • When I see Paul Williams in a top hat, it makes me think he might be chibi Tom Petty.

  • You have to consider the context of pop culture in the 70s, and view stuff like this through that prism. He's still brilliant. Great actor and musician.

  • Word.

  • Best song in the universe!

  • i almost thought it was live cause of the ABC filmers

  • Ooh, I like this version of the song.

  • there is no seaon 3...........

  • I feel like I was just Rick Roll'd

  • actually they replaced nancy drew.... any way where i get the music for this? NON vid

  • if your looking for this individual song, its on the sound track for "Phantom of the Paradise." Its available at Amazon and other various places.

  • Really good stuff.

  • This was the first time I ever saw Paul Wiliams on TV I was 4 or 5 at the time and he really and his laugh really scared me! Now I just think he's cool!

  • Cool! Thanks for posting!

  • all i know is that the trailer for that season is like a miami vice fading colors intro with only the hardy boys. if so too bad. Anyone remember Nancy's red-headed friend, George? She always played dumb but boy would i love to find her today and slap her on the ass. Sa-Sa.

  • I have it too (box set Season 2 - and Season 1) and my boys luv it! Even my 3 year old daughter has her own march she does in the living room when she hears the intro/theme song. Can't wait when is Season 3 (the last?) coming on DVD??

  • Me too! Though they dropped Nancy Drew from the last season, didn't they? :/

  • They said she left halfway through.

  • This must have been hard to find (vid) Thanks so much!

  • they released it on DVD awhile back, it's in the second season of the obvious show. I know because I was thinking of buying, JUST for this clip... (evil laugh issues) but it looks like I don't have to. Yay.

  • I love Paul Williams!!!!He is 5 feet of awsome!

  • more true words have never been spoken!
