i heard them talking about this on the police scanner this morning, they went door to door telling people to evacuate, and the firefighters that went right up to the tanks to identify the leaking chemicals were wearing breathing apparatus, they had a very dangerous job and the power company was notifyed to turn off the power to that feedstore, they were sending people to big chief that didnt have any other place to go,

I live near it too and it was a ruff morning.... its not as bad as it seems the just aren't letting anyone through the road between 2004 and 646 north. A lot of fire departments responded and are doing a great job of helping out, like i said you cant get through unless you live there and they are allowing some people back in but its going to take some time. Im just pissed because Tabaldoes feed store is all jacked up now and thats where we get feed but no one was hurt thank god!

There seems to have been some excavation taking place there, on the right as the chopper flies over and dirt is all over the one tanker. What's up with that??

Is that from the crash? Then why the wear marks on the road leading to that area?

@IonicStormFront hey shut up dood my friend lives right nxt door to me and he was awake when it happend he said it sounded like thunder and saw a helicopter circiling the train he was outside when it all happened but we live bout 5 mins away so he rode his bike up to a local store and he could see the stoped train cars so get your fcs right HOLMES!!!

santa fe has been getting alot of rain lately, and the ground level rose ans settled causing a malformation in the tracks, so the train hit a bump and rolled off track.
