That's mainly why the Gundam games have stopped coming here. Keep that in mind. Also we spend the money for the ridiculously high imports. So Bandai, from a business perspective, makes more money keeping them i japan and having us buy them for crazy prices because they know well buy them. Still, the game looks awesome.

I'll be honest, personally I love Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire. I get flack for that but I don't care. It was very realistic in terms of movement and other things associated with the mobile suits. Many people didn't like that and Bandai lost a lot of money.

Most of the time these awesome Gundam games don't come to the states is because it cost a lot of money to get the voice actors. But for this game most of the English, if not all of it is already done. The only thing that would cost money would be Americanizing all the letters and such as well as distribution.

It may actually come to America if you think about it. I have all the Unicorns released on blu ray and I've watched them in both English and Japanese. Most of the conversation we heard in that preview where from the OVA if not all of them.

The two prices are for regular and special editions. The special comes with a short novel prequel to the Unicorn story, and a bonus disc of some video. I don't know what exactly is on the bonus disc.

In any case, it looks to me a bit more like the original ACE series, possibly crossed with a fighter jet game (targeting system makes me think that). I'm excited, yes, but I don't know how long the game is really going to be, since it only covers the events of the first 3 episodes of the OVA.

But I wonder why is the regular product pretty cheap comparing to recent Gundam games? Is that mean, I guess, the game possibly has a lot of upcoming DLCs, like the last 3 episodes?

If it didn't, the game would be incomplete that's not worth to buy because it missed its full story though the game was called "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn," and should have been called Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Part 1." lol

@MichikosZaku It's kind of a short promotional game, and I really don't know why, when they have the novels already out, that they don't just adapt the whole story (which, to some degree, Gundam Musou 3 already did, since it had the ending of the story in it). But I love the PS2 ACE series games, and this looks enough like it that I'll give it a shot.

@MichikosZaku Sorry, forgot something. The game also has a mission mode where you build your pilot through a campaign. So, that's probably where the bulk of the gameplay will be.
