@Airportris As for not enough data, they have enough, shows all the ice ages and the periods in between, the current period is about 2 degrees Centigrade higher than the average temperature of non ice age periods. Global Warming dictates that while this may not be a problem now, if temperature increases at the same rate as now, it could be a problem in 100+ years.

The scientists on the board were either elected from the community (of scientists researching it) or placed there by government recommendation and the like. Since it is basically the UN of minds focused on global warming, I do believe their findings to be trustworthy. No, I haven't researched the topic with my own experiments, but I did have a class in college

The chart goes back to the first ice age, then takes the estimated average climate of the years (they believe to be) an ice age lasts (there have been a few, just not as big as "the ice age") and of the years that there is not

Within the IPCC report it says that with the climate the way it is, it could very well be nothing at all, just continued heating from the last ice age, a recorded temperature rise of 2 degrees C over the past however many years they counted isn't that drastic, but many wish to attribute this to the amount of pollutants and such in the air heating things up. @jd426999 That's pretty presumptuous of you, and no I didn't vote for Obama. And I agree that the US is having some issues right now but mostly b/c the Conservatives are the ones that need to wake up and smell the shit they've been shovelling for too long now.
Snowflake? I was being taught how to box when I was 6 and I've been shooting guns since about 10, don't think I qualify as a snowflake.

@jd426999 I agree about extremes & fearmongering on either side being detrimental. And I don't think the Dems are better than the Repubs in terms of what they've done or allowed to happen. And thanks, you too. I'd like to think of myself as being a nice person, but I am opinionated. And you did tick me off a bit, but the fact that you've apologized & not resorted to childish insults like most youtubers implies you're not too bad yourself. I'll keep an open mind.
