  • Hi, thanks for the very quick reply. I figured out a way to get it done.

    Love all you do.

    Thanks

  • I loved the tutorial and have made my own bug, very easy to follow....but you left me hanging. I now have an svg file but what next? I exported it as a bitmap and then reimported into Inkscape 0.48 to see what would happen. I did a trace and got very poor results, making me think there is a step missing.

Will there be a followup video on NOW WHAT can I do with this. I was hoping to create some images to share, but make it possible to be traced in Inkscape for someone else to adapt.

  • @papasueful

After you export the file as a bitmap, it can be uploaded to a website, inserted into a Word document, etc. You can use it any way that you would use any image. If you want to give it to someone so that they can modify it, then give them the svg file. The only time that you should need to trace an image is when you don't have the svg file.

  • good job

That looks GREAT!! :) ) You are a wonderful teacher. Thanks!!!!
