if you want this phone for cheap ad no contract go to ebay.com...one company from florida is selling it for 250 and hong kong company is sellin theirs for 200....compared to tmobile which is 400 ...the phones are brand new i got mines from the florida company and when i recieved it it came in original sealed box

@seth101ify yes yu can but the phone has to be unlocked so it can work on any GSM network....once you unlock it or if its unlocked you can insert your at&t card in them you got your self a workin phone for at&t...but juss make sure to ask your provider can you get data id so then everything will be good:)

@7:03 where you say there is no landscaping when its close...thats very false..go to your settings>display>then click auto rotate screen>then BOOM auto landscape,,,you can text that way while its close and use your touch part of the phone...dont believe me try it for your self...i did it on mine...juss 3 easy steps:)

I think only certain units of this phone are defective cause I have had my phone for a lil while and I LOVE it. No crashes or anything and my mom has the same one with a few crashes but she has the pink and black one, I have the white and black one so idk

@poppork i think its a "hit or miss" like most other smart phones, im considering getting it to try it myself. The few of the people i know that have say they love it, but the reviews I've read from different sites say its a bad phone, so i guess just try it yourself

To anyone who has this phone. What is the MSN support like? For many people like me who really only had a sidekick (hiptop here in australia) for its IM support. Im curious before i buy as NO Android IM apps even come close to what the old danger based IM apps could do. (IM+ in my opinion is the closest)

My battery life lasts at least 9 hours a day with somewhat constant use. This phone freezes maybe once every 2 weeks, but you just have to take out battery. Great keyboard as well. Also, I've dropped it so many times and nothing has ever happened.

i planed to get a 4g tomobile phone for the 30$ monthly tmobile plan

i was looking at the nexus s which i know is ALOT better than the sidekick

but... i really really want a keyboard and 4g. from what i heard its still has one of the best keyboard android phone out there! also i heard over the forums all the bug is due to the samsung's touch wiz ui on the phone... so once i get it i would just root it and flash a much more stable rom.

I think your biased towards this phone over any other phone. I have watched other reviews you have done and you only say bad things about them. @LKdot007 You can always tell by the back cover. If it has a black back, you're gonna have the white pop up screen. If you see a white back (Like in the video) you're gonna see a pink pop up screen

@LKdot007 It's cool, don't worry about it :). As for apps, there are a lot of apps available on the market, you can find just about any app (Not including games, but it still has a great collection) that's on the App store (iOS) on the Market (Android)

There are a lot of free apps, and you don't need to unlock to get the paid ones for free, unlike iOS.

I must disagree with the battery life conclusions.

It is much better than my Mytouch, G1, HD2, Vibrant and HD7.

That large 1500mAh battery and the 3.5 inch screen really help here

fir example i carge it in the morning around 8am before work it has a full battery and i txt all day long, i made a 4 hr call and used web browsing maybe about 2 hrs, ohh and the youtube app for and hour maybe and by 9pm it still had about half the battery life, so my battery last long!

@Pearl6191 I loooved my mytouch4g slide just because I had zero problems with it. but it was pretty basic design wise. The sidekick 4g is a little bit more fun and funky with their OS and the layout and themes. Threy're both pretty similar though.
