Yo tigercat, minutes to midnight is not awesome. Fair enough, you like it, I don't, but its not a world-changing album, the songs are just generic and boring.

I say that cause when they released hybrid theory and meteora they were one of a kind, a weird rap/rock/metal crossover that noone else was doing, but now they just sound diluted into another soft-rock band.

Thats what i reckon anyway.

soft rock? have you even listened to Given Up? The new album is good and it kind of makes a break in what they've been doing. I mean I like their old style as well as new. What they need to do for album #4 (studio wise) is mix them both. Oh and thats also your opinion that you don't like it.

This song is actually really good, after one listen I liked it far more than anything on their new album even after trying to listen to it and trying to like it.

You have to wonder why this isn't on the new album.

Because it wouldn't go well with their new stuff; this is harder than any of their other songs. More bass than any of their others. Harder lyrics, etc. It just wouldn't work well at all.
