By your logic, you have no right criticize any Christian or Hindu who mistreat Muslims, because you are saying there is no unity with people of other faiths simply because they have a different religion than you. That's what not what Islam teaches. Islam respects freedom of religion and respect others. You should maybe follow that. there is a difference between peaceful co existence and "unity". unity implies a lot more.

Who cares what this handful of Alawites say? It is not indicative of a whole sect. Most of you are engaging in sheer sectarianism, which will continue to plague the Middle-East if it is not suppressed. Dont forget that wahhabism is a strand derived from Sunnism, which, as a Sunni, I wholeheartedly disagree with, yet the majority of the Muslim world receives funding, "endowments" and information (media) from the Wahhabis (Saudis). Remember that there are Alawites opposing the Assad regime.

You have a good point "heat of the moment" well at the moment Bashars party is in power and the Syrian Muslims are dying like flys. Those victims also have some heat of the moment but they dont talk like that. They say Allah Hu Akhbar in any circumstance. The Alawites were declared as 12 imami SHia by Iranian Cleric Musa Al Sadr who gave a fatwa which helped Hafez Assad assumed power after changing the constitution of Syria.They never had any legitimacy to rule Syria, its a fraud!!

And its not just the Arabs we as an ummah are in a state of misery and oppression, the worst amongst us are ruling us, its time we broke these dividing barriers and saw ourself as one ummah, with a united goal.
