I miss there old style. Square Enix can make a new game but they should keep the old elements intact. FF became very anime. It used to no be like that. I really miss the works of Square Soft; they had it on lock down. They made games like kingdom hearts, FF,X,7,8,9. Even the music was classical. Now the graphics are really good but the story, the character development and battle system is just ok. Kingdom hearts 2 was just ok also. They need to innovate not use the same wash over and over.

@JayzTube786 i think ffxii's system is gold. they should use that fer all of them, though i've nothing against the earlier systems either, though ffx's system could use a reform. ffxiii's system felt....like you were doing the same thing over and over again, sure the charatcers and the animations were amazing, but it didnt feel as if you were fighting yourself, as if the characters were fighting for you. i wont buy this game.

@dailylife100 I personally love the direction FF has been going with each succession. I just feel that they didn't nail what they were going for in FFXII. They were close with FFXIII. If FFXIII wasn't as linear as it is and had more to do other than, "Start battle, let AI pick all the attacks for you, rinse, repeat" I would have enjoyed it far more. It would have been on my Best of FF list with FFVIII and FFX.

Still up there with FFX-2 which was better than people make it out to be.

Why would you buy a new Call of Duty game to play online death matches etc. when it is the same thing that came out a year ago? I want simple battle system with maybe a few tweaks to make it different. oh cool the worst final fantasy game ever is getting a sequel.. just what the world wanted: an expansion that lets you run down even MORE linear hallways just to get to the end, fight a boss, watch a movie, then run down some more linear hallways. Im a fan of XIII, and the series as a whole. It has its merits and flaws but it shouldn't be the game that everyone compares a 7th gen rpg to. Anyway, i think the biggest problem with XIII is that they spent at least 80% of development time focusing solely on graphics and then probably another 10% of the time on the CG cutscenes. Versus is also suffering from this and expectations in graphics design will no doubt be the downfall of the gaming industry.
