@grazydine2 I think he just practices going all the way up there till it becomes natural to him. Thats what I practice doing and I noticed it seemed easier to go higher and you can extend the range higher.
And Halford & Dickinson great singers. Yeah, yes, these bands pull balls Metallica and others later. But i think Judas is better. Here is a little more vigor ;>
Tipton might be far more technical than Downing, but in my opinion the latter is more essential to Judas Priest's sound, as he sets that aggressive tone that is the band's trademark

As long has people are going to comepare Judas Priest and Iron Maiden I'm gunna say that Bruce Dickinson rarely hit the high notes he recorded only sometimes on in 82-83 while Rob Halford has had many great performances from 74-90.

Anyone who is educated about music will know that the Priest guitarists play way more theoretically diverse and advanced stuff. That's not to be discussed, really. And technically, Glenn is superior to both the Maiden guys and KK. He's showed us that over and over again.

Whether he himself was tired or having an off night, or it's just the way it's mixed, or it's just a bad recording or what, I don't know, but he sounds like a bad karaoke version of himself. It's sad, cause I know he is much MUCH better that this makes him sound.

I saw this tour. It's a sin they didn't play Freewheel Burning :( ...But they did on the Ram It Down tour, which was fucking unbelievable. This was the last tour where Rob's voice was truly epic. He was even sicker on Ram, but was still excellent on this one.
There's nothing similar between these two Guitarists. I don't know how the hell you get that feeling. Anyway that's your feeling. And please stop talking about Maiden in Priest videos.

Both Adrian and Dave are better than K.K. in every way. Talking about the four, I like Adrian's solos better than the other three. Glenn's solos are also fantastic, but you just can't ignore Maiden guys. Glenn has Beyond the Realms of Death, Dreamer Deceiver, K.K. has Between the Hammer & the Anvil but also Adrian has Stranger in a Strange Land, Alexander the Great and Caught Somewhere in Time, Dave has Powerslave. Maiden duo is slightly better for me.

I saw this tour. It's a sin they didn't play Freewheel Burning :( ...But they did on the Ram It Down tour, which was fucking unbelievable. This was the last tour where Rob's voice was truly epic. He was even sicker on Ram, but was still excellent on this one.

@ChangGang i love both bands and both axe players in each great metal band. ive been blessed with seeing both bands live several times. the only player to me that is less caliber is janick gerrs. but if you wanna pick them apart then i thing iron maiden writes more intricate songs and priest plays speed and pop metal at times. and i like it all. unleash the priest and up the irons yeahhhh.......

Both Adrian and Dave are better than K.K. in every way. Talking about the four, I like Adrian's solos better than the other three. Glenn's solos are also fantastic, but you just can't ignore Maiden guys. Glenn has Beyond the Realms of Death, Dreamer Deceiver, K.K. has Between the Hammer & the Anvil but also Adrian has Stranger in a Strange Land, Alexander the Great and Caught Somewhere in Time, Dave has Powerslave. Maiden duo is slightly better for me.
