Here's what I do whenever I am invloved in international espionage and I need to covertly record stuff: I just get a cardboard box and write "NOT A HIDDEN CAMERA" on it in Sharpie. Then I sneakily place my 1982 Sony camcorder in it (making sure to cut a hole for the lense). Way more effective than this.
