when someone says Madhuri can't act you know that person is an ass and also oblivious of the true status of Madhuri. And of course that person does not have any sense or understanding of good acting. When the acting looks like "acting" they think it is "good acting". A natural but profound talent with extraordinary depth (in mahesh bhatt's language) as Madhuri is beyond their antenna. Never having heard of either of them (I can't stand Indian films), I had to look for their pictures for comparison. I have to agree with Raj. Madhuri is pretty to be sure, but Ashwarya is just stunning (and I'm talking about facial features, I didn't look at full body pics). Maybe it's the blue eyes, I don't know, but I have to agree with Raj.

This is exactly what is the image of Madhuri and Aishwariya Rai. Sheldon is very critical and non emotional about analysis while Raj obviously is an Aishwariya fan. Yes the song is different but when Sheldon says is that Aishwariya Raj says yes, that is the main point, it is not about getting right song. Ashwaria rai is very over-rated. Madhuri Dixit is much better looking and a much better actress. Ashwaria rai just has the figure, she barely manages to put up even a decent performance. I agree with Sheldon. Nice to know he also knows about bollywood.

These comparisons between Rai and Dixit are so stupid. They are from completely different generations of bollywood actress. Madhuri Dixit started her career in 1984, while Aishwarya started her in 1997, when Dixit was at the peak of her career. Plus...they both acted so graciously in Devdas. Loved it!

ravi, while shooting they r of course not watching TV, the background plays a bolly song, thats it. They did not care wat actually is playing. Imp is the conversation and the fact Sheldon is always right!! He did not say anything by watchin tv, he said what he KNOWS about bollywood. He says the right thing, all critic rate Ash as be very ordinary in acting/dancing in comparison to Madhuri. This is the msg that is passed. And Sheldon DOES KNOW about bollywood.
