  • 2:50 HOW TINY!! LOLOLOLOL

  • Hi Jon.

I have a 3 to 4 year old sexed female E.campestratus as you said they are great and this girl is a real lovely.

But I can't find the other two out of the four genus.

I know the Eupalaestrus weijenberghi is in the hobby but what of these two?.

    Eupalaestrus guyanus

    Eupalaestrus spinosissimus

Also what size does E.weijenberghi grow to?.

    Thanks.

    John

  • @johnbc62

the weijenberghi gets to 4.5-5 inches. I never even heard of these 2, so I haven't even come across them in the hobby

  • Stupid Alex !!! >:(

  • Comment removed

  • what was the N. Chromauts's name

  • i didn't name it, because it disappeared

  • oh.

  • damn sorry that's and awsome species

  • yeah when they change name its kinda anoying. .

  • Go figure huh? The violet giant being called the blue, and the smaller oddball with more of a bluish cast overall being called the Violet. This is why I tend to go by scientific names, although they too seem to change with the winds anymore.

  • ya, I hate using common names I prefer much the scientific names also.

Ya, it sucks because they're calling normal phase of G.rosea, G.porteri and they changed N.vulpinus to N.tripepii

  • Alex080 has ripped off a LOT of people across the net, including RobC from arachnophiles. He will get what's coming to him, because he's committed fraud on a huge scale.

Also, neat to hear you mention how the Taps are meaner than the Pokies from experience. They're such beautifully obscure T's, new world Avicularinae species that have every characteristic of the old world species.

Also, at least on Swiftinverts, the Ornict sp is being called the Sing Violet, and the Lamp the Sing blue.

  • ya, I have two Tap gigas, they're also the fastest one

  • Cool Jon. Happy birthday!

  • by anay chance was that alex080 or whatever he was collecting money and not sending stuff to alot of people i guess did you ever get your order 400 bux is alot i would be fuckin livid beyond pissed

  • never got it...waiting since April 2009. I sent him a registered letter

  • haha ur 27 wow i thought you were like 17 or 18 . nice t's

  • Do you know where I can find pictures of 5 tarantulas? Heres what they are:

    E. Coco - El Coco Tarantula

"Tai Po Kau" - Tai Po Kau Chinese Tarantula

    P. sjoestedi

    O. andersoni

    C. crinirufus

  • google it

  • I did but didn't get anything

  • write the full scienctific names

  • did that too

  • Happy Late Birthday Jon! I found out my new top 10 Coolest Ts List 10. E. truculentus 9. P. cancerides 8. P. irminia 7. B. boehmei 6. G. aureostriatum 5. P. cambridgei 4. H. lividum 3. C. cyanopubescens 2. P. metallica 1. C. fasciatum
  • Wait... i'm confused. Are Singapore blues and Singapore violets the same species?

  • actually some speculate they're different. The singapore blue is Cyriogapogus sp.blue (max size 6-8 inches with bright blue legs similar to H.lividum) where as Singapore violet (Lampropelma violaceopes) gets to having a 9-10 inch leg span and have violet legs. I've seen both species sold along side each other.

  • Actually recently they're saying the Cyriogapogus is an Ornith species, because it has characteristics of Haps, Lamps, and Cyrios but isn't one of any. Also they're calling it sp. Sing Blue, but most places still sell Lampropelma Vio as a Sing Blue too. I know mine's a true Lampro because a good friend sent it to me from his breeding project.

  • OH ok, good lol. I got confused because a website was using a picture of a S. blue for a S. violet.

    Thanks for clearing that up!

    You and Robc are awesome!

  • do you think a 1/2" N cromatis could escape container holes?

or if I make holes tiny ill be fine

  • if you make the holes small enough, you shouldnt have problems

  • Sound cool maybe ill get one someday +)

    P. Miranda looks cool but Will not be undesertimated I know pokies very fast & quick to defend

  • whats a average price for P. Miranda? btw

    how awsome are adults?

  • they range from about $60-100 for a good sized sling early juvie.

They get your typical pokie size, 8 inches. They're cool

  • You'll love the Sing Blue, a friend of mine sent me two Tap violaceus (1 1 1/2"), 1 Lampropelma violaceopes( 1 3/4"), and a Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (1/2" to 3/4"). The Sing Blue is honestly more friendly and less menacing than the purple trees, and the GBB is a puppy dog compared to them. They're beautiful additions to my Sericopelma rubronitens and my Aphonopelma seemani (oldest T, around 13).

  • Oh I now that first hand, I have 2 Tap Gigas, they're meaner than my pokies. Nice one

  • Oh yeah.. I love them for that.. and GOD they're fast. I'd say faster than any Pokie I've seen.

  • Who is this "Alex" guy that Ripped you off?

  • if you looked at the video "Alex080 clarifications"...I basically bought and paid from him for $400 worth of Ts back in May....I have yet to receive them. He never responds to any of my emails, and expensive phone calls to california

  • aww you had 66 T's did 2 die? that stinks. O well nice new Ts!

My chaco goldenkee gunna die sometime sadly its male. never tryed to find a breeder lol

  • The N.chromatus in this video, had disappeared, my guess the airholes were too large (the dangers of getting slings this small) and my adult female E.murinus has passed

  • Id feed slings that small on bean weavils, not sure if you can get hold of them ok over there.

  • i feed them pinhead crickets

  • that nhandu was very small how is it now

  • disappeared im afraid :(

  • Happy birthday. Awesome new Ts, should include them and slings in a feeding vid.

  • Love the new ts! Can't wait to see them in future videos. Hope you had a good birthday. Chris :)

  • belated happy birthday, buddy! :)

  • happy be-lated Birthday, new t's look great

  • I havent checked you out in a while.

    Anyway, Happy Birthday Jon!

    How is that LSS?

  • sleeping :)

  • KK so If I ever get some fast Aboreals I know what room to transfer in lol!!!

  • have an open room to transfer

  • y would u do a t vid in the washroom? lmao

  • its an open space, and if you saw how fast the second T was, you'll see why I do it there. My room has bad lighting and too m I got too much stuff and hiding places for them to crawl under.

  • SO it dosnt have to be a bathroom just a very open room. similar to the room robc uses in his vids? k thanks > gotta get me some New T;s 4 females 3males... & males dont live long. firelegs still sub-adult male,

  • this is the only place that's open

  • Male curly haired is tiny. like 4" I think

  • why do you do T videos on the bathroom floor?

  • because

    1) Better lighting

    2) Its the only open room I have...that striata would have been long gone if I did this in my bedroom.

  • cool. Most bathrooms do have better than average lighting.

  • i did mainly because for the Ts. If I did it in my room, they'd instantly hide

  • That sucks that alex still hasnt shiped your Ts, I really hope you get them soon, and great vid and great new additions. i cant wait to get some more

  • i hope so

  • Happy Birthday!

    You got some cool Ts!

  • Happy birthday! Mines in a week and I got 5 new Ts on the way to help me celebrate

  • nice which ones

  • B.emilia, A.Avic, A.minatrix, A.versi, B.smithi

  • wow, I could crave for a B.emilia now

  • Im sorry to hear that cunt alex dident refund you also.

    Piece of fucking shit. :-(

  • Happy birthday matey.

There the best present you could have wanted im sure. :-)

  • wow dere costly enuf 4 slings, ur gna av fun wit da singapore blue, mines around da same size, never refuses food and is a extreme webber

  • nice :)

  • Striata are one of my favorite pokies!

I have 2 adult females and a MM, the girls are GORGEOUS when freshly molted, lots of purple.

    Happy Birthday!

  • thanks, I look forward to seeing them now :)

  • HOw agresive was your P. Regalis back when you got it as a sling?

  • as a 1.5 inch sling, much like you saw the Mysore in the video...fricken fast

  • not really agressive, just very skittish

  • dang 150 canadian for 4 T's lol

Mysore does normally cost a lot. its a bit rarer.

  • 3 Ts actually

  • she was, I thought she tagged me

  • Happy Birthday Jon, is your pokie collection complete now?

  • not quite, all I am missing is P.smithi and the highland form of P.subfusca

  • Hppy bithday jon!, nice T'S

  • thanks

  • Happy birthday man, great additions

  • sorry its late but happy birthday mate a great birthdayu presant some t's awesome

  • thanks man

  • uh oh. 3 years youll be an old fart dude.

  • the big 3-0 lol

  • great vid i wish i could get as many Ts as you do the economy is just killing me and my family right now

  • ya, i can relate with you

  • This video is awesome! I rated 5\5. Sooo cool. I remember when I was 8 and i got 2.... one of them was smal as the first one in this video, and the second one was about 8-10cm. The small one ran away/got lost and the second one died.... I was sooooooo unhappy......

  • i can relate with you...those small ones escape so easily

  • Unpacking the new T's are always great videos. Your Eupalaestrus weijenberghi is acting typical of the speces, so docile it just makes itself comfortable where ever and is reluctant to move. :) I'm getting a new shipment early next week...An E campestratus and C fasciatum. Your last feeding video helped convince me to go with those two.

  • nice, great Ts :)

Watch out for the C.fasciatum, they like bolting and kicking hairs :)

  • Happy birthday jon. that N chromatus is so tiny.

  • ya same size as the one i got at the expo

  • Happy Birthday, and that Alex guy....... Don't worry, if he doesn't ship to you, I'll shit on his car hood.

  • lol

  • If you bought those localy those would have cost much more. I did that the last 2 times, I think I'll go your way this time and order one. Happy B-Day

  • ya, and at least you have more variety than normal petshops

  • For a 1/4 inch sling, like that, do you have to give them crushed crickets, or will they accept small pinheads, too?

  • depends on how small they are. Or you can give it fruitflies

  • Happy Birthday Jon!!

  • thanks

  • I think I already said it in a diffrent vid but Happy b-day jon and i think as far as Alex goes he is not gonna man up and send u anything but good luck:)

  • it looks that way :(

  • Thanks, same for your mom

  • Nice Jon:)

  • thanks

  • welcome

  • Happy birthday, adorable new additions! :-)

Uh oh...my birthday's coming up and you're giving me ideas! Mom says I have to stop at 6 Ts, but we all know that's not possible. ;-)

  • ya, its so hard :)

  • happy bday!!! i wish u good luck with ur t's!!

  • thanks :)

  • happy bday :)

  • happy birthday jon

  • thanks
