Lita and Trish's DVDs came out entirely to early i think...WWE should come out with a follow up to Litas Dvd and Trishs Dvd.. Litas came out like a year after her debut in 2001 and she was there till 2006 so much was missed out on cuz it came out WAY to early

@art1ej No its WWE's job to promote the diva that got the most belts its not them saying oh she is the best there ever was. If Lita didn't leave WWE and stayed because i forsaw her becoming 5 times champ then left in good faith. Lita would also be talked about. But WWE cares alot about Lita still. They named her the second best champ. Plus they won't let anyone get more woman's champ holds then Lita. They have three best divas. Trish stratus, Lita, the Moolah. Those 3 names will be always on top

@DivasGameHouse I've seen Nat botch the standing suplex once. On the other hand, I've seen botch sloppily in a lot of different matches. The only one I can remember being completely clean was against Lita at Unforgiven in '06, Raw main event in '04--that famed Wrestlemania 22 match against Mickie was botch central. If you've watched all of Natalya's work and honestly think she is average and Trish is superior then I have nothing else to say to you. The woman who does a trib to British Bulldog!
@demolitapower Ive seen every diva botch. But most times its there opponent not them. If you know wretling. Ive seen Nattie botch alot. On her end she don't sell some of the moves right. Sometimes she over sells and the move looks so fake. WM22 i did not see much botching at all really very few but mickie lol messed things up. Every diva botch it happens. you could be nervouse or the opponent is not carrying out the match right, maybe they weigh alot, or other things it happens.

She botches the clothesline to Alicia, Suplex to kelly, ddt to aj, and many more. I never said Trish was superior i just belieev she can beat nattie just like i believe nattie can beat her. @DivasGameHouse winning the womens championship isnt about being the best in the world or the WWE, its about representing that company in a pr kinda way. At that time you still needed skill, not so much now (Kelly Kelly) but Trish garnered more success because of her looks. Im saying if you take away career accomplishments from all the women & just look at in-ring skill, Trish was outmatched by all the women mentioned.

Coming in a sport where she had no skills and leaving a pro is really great. There are very few women in wrestling who had their cleavage jakced up as high as Trish's. There were hotter women than Trish but she was more talented. Im not trying to downplay Trish's skill, she had more skill than the other hot women at that time but then she was hotter than the more skilled women. She debuted as T&A of course she was gonna get over the stuff she wore!

Its hard for women i don't know but I believe it is because any successful women ppl say they get there because of there looks. If looks really counted why did Torrie's career fail, Stacy fail, Miss jackie fail, Ariel fail, terri fail, sable fail, stephanie fail, and much more. Its the fans that choose not WWE. @mttyler There were many wrestlers that had a limited moveset but made the freakin hell out of it and considered one of the best such as Bret hart, Steve austin, The Rock, DDP, Hulk Hogan, Iron Sheik, Mr. Wonderful, Eddie Guerrero, and much more. My reason is that there skills were great but they had a limited moveset and still made great historic matches. Trish was limited but she always added 1 or 2 new moves every match and made great matches.
@mttyler Remember Moolah? She was a great in ring competitor but was limited. PPl even said she didn't deserve her spot though i believed she deserved her success. Moolah was talked about all the time cuz she was the most relevant prime diva in her time.
@art1ej As far as reaction from the crowd she was the only diva in that time to get physical with the guys though she was small. That was when Trish didn't have the skills she had later. when Trish and victoria started hitting the guys and holding main event match types they got more reaction. I love Lita and WWe still respects her though she left in bad faith. I don't think WWE will ever let any diva hold the original womans champion more then Lita not Trish. Those two were the divas wwe listed

Lita had in some states bigger reactions then some diva. and then trish in some statures had bigger reactions then Lita. But ive seen times as Trish being a face she had more pops and chants from both males and females over lita. Trish has gottent he reaction Lita did. trish also look around you will see she was one of the most popular divas. You can't judge just on crowd reaction alone there are polls, and votes.

A former wwe worker even said so that if your the most popular superstar or diva you will be the leading champion. They do votes, and polls. all the time. @DivasGameHouse Except Manami IS the best. It's a cop-out to say that all the wrestlers are the same. We don't say that about the men. Any wrestling fan worth their salt knows that Hogan was the most popular but he was not the BEST in the ring. The same is true for the women. Lita is my favorite, but you don't see me going on about how she could beat anyone, and if she was in x promotion she would've beaten a woman who was the BEST IN THE WORLD. That is a fact, not a subjective opinion.

Nor does they control who wins.That's a whole diff department. the divas themselves create how the match goes and what moves are done.The creative team just tells them who is suppose to win. Plus there are many many members on the creative team so if he is friends with one of them that proves nothing they run based on votes and agreements with all.Link to the vid?
@art1ej Plus the story lines runs through more then just the creative team. There are many different teams it goes through. If there was any bias with the creative team WWE takes that very seriously. That person would be removed. it happened to many guys being biased and being fired i keep up with WWe news. So I know they are serious when it comes to those types of things. Plus it runs through all the members so what Trish would have to say would run through many other members.

@art1ej Well thats not factual because all votes and popularity counts up from many different aspects. Yes Lita was popular crowd wise but was she popular babe of the year wise? Diva of the decade wise? Polls wise? Maxim Magazine wise? Dvd Votes wise? All those count and Thats Why Trish led in popularity. these are not all wwe you can check maxim well not now but in her time in WWE it shows she was the leading female. She was the only woman from WWE besides torrie wilson to be in the top 50's.
@art1ej Trish i believe was the most popular and Maybe Lita was more popular in crowd wise not much more but yes a bit more. But in the other aspects Trish dominated terribly. WWE don't choose its the fans. it also makes sense they can sell whatever but if the fans don't wan't it then it wont sell. It makes no sense for them to rig popularity. Lita was great but with all put together Trish wins in popularity. Though I can't choose between the two honestly.
@art1ej I agree but i have watches all her matches including most of Lita's and also payed attention to pitches as well as polls. I've always seen trish win in those aspects. And only twice ive seen Trish get higher pops then Lita. But to be honest Lita had a way with the fans because of her unique integrity, look, and ability. Though Trish embodies all of that I think Lita was in wwe much much longer and and been in historic matches before Trish. thats plays a big role in popularity too.

When you build a reputation for so long it makes sense that you will get more recognition its like marketing. Where would you buy your food?Walmart or little corner store?

All Im saying is that Lita new how to fight and was in superior storylines as well as in a tag team with jeff and Matt. Lita had time to build her fan base which Trish was only the manager during the time she entered the world of wrestling. That is a big part and when you build a respectable fan base you will be more respected no matter who comes after you.

But as far as what you said well of course if your new to the wrestling game with no prior training verses a much skilled opponent they will help you out. Jackie was being a good wrestler and helping Trish but in 2001 Trish showed many divas the power and skills she gained. To take the finishers from so much guys, brutalized by almost every weapon in the ring by guys, and get very physical with them is something many divas can't embody. The only divas that can compare to Trish is Lita, Jazz, Jackie, and Victoria. But in my opinion Trish took more then most only Jackie i think took little more damage from the guys.
@art1ej If Jackie was to fight Trish now you would see an epic match that would fall into the cracks of the best historic divas match in history along with the feud of Lita and Trish. But the main topic is that Trish was a little green in that time and if your a beginner in the game you will need help everyone knows that. Trish really gain experience and I think more skills then divas that have been training for 15 years lol.

I love Lita and Trish (esp Lita) but there are far more skilled women wrestlers, Manami Toyota, Jacqueline, Victoria, Jazz, Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Rey, Natalya, Awesome Kong.BTW Natalya is INCREDIBLE if you ever watch her indie work, she is a better tech wrestler than some men employed by WWE now, but she gets no ring time. Trish was charismatic and attractive but she was no where near the best in female wrestling
@demolitapower Well there is a difference due to different temparemant and wrestling industries. If trish was in those wrestling industries like Manami, Melissa, Sara, and awesome kong she would have adapted and took on differently. She wasn't she was in wwe. Plus if im not mistaken she beat victoria, and jazz countless times. Victoria is one of my favs so is jazz but never better then Trish facts prove it tremendously. Who wins has nothing to do with technical skill, it has to do with management and creative pushing who they want. @DivasGameHouse Therefore, it is possible that they may have adapted and done well--but its also entirely possible they wouldn't have made it. Natalya and Kong did make it. Kong won every championship there was in Japan, which she had to prove herself through base, technical skill. They don't award wins in Japan based on popularity like in the US. You have to prove you are better and THEN they will book the win. The same is true for Natalya. That is the difference!

@DivasGameHouse I've seen Nat botch the standing suplex once. On the other hand, I've seen botch sloppily in a lot of different matches. The only one I can remember being completely clean was against Lita at Unforgiven in '06, Raw main event in '04--that famed Wrestlemania 22 match against Mickie was botch central. If you've watched all of Natalya's work and honestly think she is average and Trish is superior then I have nothing else to say to you. The woman who does a trib to British Bulldog!

@demolitapower Ive seen every diva botch. But most times its there opponent not them. If you know wretling. Ive seen Nattie botch alot. On her end she don't sell some of the moves right. Sometimes she over sells and the move looks so fake. WM22 i did not see much botching at all really very few but mickie lol messed things up. Every diva botch it happens. you could be nervouse or the opponent is not carrying out the match right, maybe they weigh alot, or other things it happens.

If Trish, same skill, talent, charisma etc looked like say Vickie Guerrero do you think she would have achieved half what she did? Would you even like her? At that time you still needed skill, not so much now (Kelly Kelly) but Trish garnered more success because of her looks. @mttyler There were many wrestlers that had a limited moveset but made the freakin hell out of it and considered one of the best such as Bret hart, Steve austin, The Rock, DDP, Hulk Hogan, Iron Sheik, Mr. Wonderful, Eddie Guerrero, and much more. My reason is that there skills were great but they had a limited moveset and still made great historic matches. Trish was limited but she always added 1 or 2 new moves every match and made great matches.

That was when Trish didn't have the skills she had later. when Trish and victoria started hitting the guys and holding main event match types they got more reaction. I love Lita and WWe still respects her though she left in bad faith. I don't think WWE will ever let any diva hold the original womans champion more then Lita not Trish. Any wrestling fan worth their salt knows that Hogan was the most popular but he was not the BEST in the ring. The same is true for the women. And only twice ive seen Trish get higher pops then Lita. But to be honest Lita had a way with the fans because of her unique integrity, look, and ability. To take the finishers from so much guys, brutalized by almost every weapon in the ring by guys, and get very physical with them is something many divas can't embody. Because Ive seen wrestling and its 50/50 Trish or any of them could win. Trish or them could win a match against each other equally lol. @DivasGameHouse You admitted you never even saw a Manami Toyota match, but insisted Trish could beat them. That is the definition of mark. Did you know Trish and Lita studied her matches to learn to wrestle? I never said anything about size, because guess what, Manami was small! Kong is bigger, but even without size she has amazing technical skill, Kurt Angle wanted to wrestle her. You are missing out on some fantastic wrestling just watching American matches.

@demolitapower But if trish or lita happen to wrestling in japan wrestling guess what. they would have learned a different experience and adapt to there cultural fighting as well as experience. Thats the thing Japan wrestling is so much more different it makes no point ot compare the two being all different and all. It all has to do with where the wrestler was wrestling and there style. If you was in american wrestling and you transferred to japan. You would adapt. Lol it all makes sense.

The point is, if you only watch American wrestling then you don't know female wrestling, b/c in WWE they treat female wrestling like a joke. In Japan it is a true sport, so the skill levels are completely different

@DivasGameHouse Therefore, it is possible that they may have adapted and done well--but its also entirely possible they wouldn't have made it. Natalya and Kong did make it. Kong won every championship there was in Japan, which she had to prove herself through base, technical skill. They don't award wins in Japan based on popularity like in the US. You have to prove you are better and THEN they will book the win. The same is true for Natalya. That is the difference!

@demolitapower I believe with little persistence and a push they would have made it and went down in history with the others. Thats the thing if Natalya could make it then lets be real and not make jokes. trish and Lita would have made it too. Thats just simple. If seen small japan women fight big huge woman and win with agility. Manami was small and she knows how to strategize. Its simple they would have done great and make it.

@demolitapower And you keep comparing japan wrestling to WWE. American and japan are two completely diff types of wrestling why compare the styles and everything is much different. Japan wrestling takes more skills and exertion. Im talking about WWE only and thats all.

I watch some japan not a full fan yet but yea i'v seen some there great but the one thing they have in common is that its all scripted who win. The thing is that they do a much better job of making there wrestling look real. And most of there fighting is more japan style oriented. If you caught on I was talking WWE only not japan or TNA.

I told you that is ridiculous because Manami Toyota invented her moveset, Kong competed in Japan and beat legends like Aja Kong and Hamada, Natalya is the only woman to graduate from the Hart dungeon where Edge and the Harts trained, Lita is the first woman to survive the Funking Dojo with all men. The fact is you were wrong and you don't want to admit it.

But lets be honest experience counts but aint the only deciding factor. Ive seen ppl come in with 7 months skills and fight against ppl with 10 years skills and win. Your point hmmm I thought so.

I'm pointing out how silly it is to say that the woman who INVENTED tech wrestling for women, whose moves were copied and used by greats in the United States, could be beaten by Trish Stratus. That is an absurd statement to make.I don't care who you like more, but saying that you thought Trish could beat Manami is illogical. @DivasGameHouse and honestly, I think you are the one who is strange coming to a video called "WWE divas and Superstars talk about Lita" to go on and on about Trish Stratus is the best and can beat anyone...of course people are going to argue with you...especially when you say she is better than women who held 10 championships internationally and in the states, I bet you didn't even know Jacqueline is a 13 TIME championship belt holder or that Moolah won 9 champs not 7. @demolitapower If gail can beat awesome kong then why not Trish? Oh and Kharma should eb fighting men not women. We can't count her she is way too big. But the rest Trsih would have done great in there temperament. She would have adapted greatly. Lita is not bigger then trish in fact Trish was much thicker then Lita. And most of these woman had long time experience. Trsih only 8 years in the game. all im saying trish did great for the 8 years.

@DivasGameHouse also gail was held back in WWE she is a superb wrestler...she played a heel in WWE which means she can't use a flashy style and its her job to work the face through the match, who gets their moveset off and the win. You can't compare Gail Kim's work in WWE to her work in the indies/TNA. By that logic, Kelly Kelly would be better than Natalya or Beth Phoenix, and Natalya is a skilled strong technical wrestler, who LIKE Lita, graduated from a dojo with nothing but MEN as opponents

@demolitapower Lol still even in training or indies its all scripted. Do you even know that? Lita beating men at the dojo = Scripted. Gail in indies and TNA = scripted. Natalya = scripted. Its all scripted lol. So your trying to say this and that but like evry diva in history its all scripted. The only thing i was stating is that Trish's character was great. But this doesn't deny the fact that a opponent with much fewer experience can beat a opponent with years and years experience.

@demolitapower To me Lita was great and Trish. But Trish accomplished more and did more then Lita. Lita was a great diva. But Trish took down opponents Lita couldn't in there prime. The thing i noticed about trish was that she planned and strategized how to take down her opponents. She would have found out a way to beat Manami, Melissa, Sara, or Kong. Its not how strong u are but the strategy u plan. Like she strategized how to take down lita, jazz, jackie, and victoria. Good comment tho.
