why oh why has this man not been honored by this country? He is truly inspirational as an artist,performer and a person. Easily the best British live male performer over the last40 years or so.On the same level as the great Shirley Bassey. The best live British entertainers in my lifetime anyway. he was in a bit of a state, sad to him like that, hes such an incredibly talented guy.

this is a beautifully sang classic song with joe in top form from 1994 when he was right at the top of his game. its a shame hes been so ill and its taken its tole on him.

Yes, when I saw him in April he looked very ill but his voice was good. It is a shame he's been so unwell for such a long time now. It goes to show his love for the music and singing that he still performs. In the height of his career he was fantastic, what a voice! Was fortunate to see him a few times as he appears here. This was 1994! Joe does look great here. Obviously this was well before his illness - bless him. I see him in Essex in April and he was on brilliant form and looked much better than when I see him last year

Hi Pip, I bought this for my mum years ago on video, we are both great fans. It's called "Joe Longthorne Live in Concert" made by Picture Musoc International (PMI) the code on the video is MVP 4912943. If you look on his website he shows it there (although the code is wrong on there and shows as NVP), but you can't buy on-line :( Perhaps try to contact PMI or his fanclub. Hope you manage to get it, it's a great show. Let me know how you get on. Maria
