Yeah but under the new system of classifying celestial bodies it's considered a dwarf planet. Which means it's large enough to create a spherical body....but not large enough to clear it's orbit of smaller material. I know everyone hates the fact that pluto is no longer a planet but to be honest with you I think that the universe will reveal itself to be much more complicated then star/planet/asteroid ya know? In fact there are several pluto sized dwarf planets in the keiper belt
I think it's BS they got away with what they did, I have books from when I was kid showing Pluto was a planet, I think that scientist should be taken out into a field and have his butt kicked

Pluto was "demoted"? No-Pluto is a planet! It`s big enough to be spherical in shape, so it`s a planet.
