What I found fascinating is that even after 20 years of existence of independent Croatian state, almost neighboring Austria displays flag of Netherlands with Croat coat of arms sticker on it - instead of proper Croatian official flag.
@kamikatze07 Yes, but that is not official flag of Croatia, it is obvious improvisation.
Just check this link en. wikipedia. org / wiki / Flag_of_Croatia (without the extra spaces) and you will notice the difference.
Maybe it seems like hairsplitting but it is not. We don't have the simplest flag in Europe but for such official events organizer should have been much better prepared, especially when we're practically first neighbors.
