I wish my doctor did real throat cultures. I had 3 cheap strep-tests over a period of a month. After almost suffocating and being in severe pain, they figured out I had MRSA in my tonsils and a powerful dose of clindamycin cleared it up within days.
I do not have insurance and I think I might have strep. what does the back of the throat look like for one who has strep? I cough a bunch and still think its allergies but i never had it this bad before. How to create my own petri dish? what is the red stuff that lets the stuff grow.... is it jello? lol
@inachu If you have a strep throat you can go to a clinic to get treatment for it by getting a test as the one shown above and a prescription for antibiotics. Usually when you have an infection the mouth the doctors check the lymph nodes in the back to see if they are swollen. That means the nodes are fighting the infection with lymphocytes (T and B cells)
