Chrissy is such a beast. She makes me so proud to even just be a female. haha. Her ability to perform is just incredible. (HOW CAN SHE RUN LIKE THAT?!?! :)))

@TheSarahbee24 Hi, do you do triathlon yourself ? I had this pre race image in my head of Mirinda and Chrissie going head to head on the run, locked in battle, it NEARLY worked out like that, i'm sure Mirinda thought she could catch Chrissie on the run but champions have that something special inside. I think Chrissie being busted up before the race and pulling off the victory is truly immense, and to think this sport get's so little coverage baffles me. All the best from Scotland.

@organicsuperman My husband is actually the triathlete in the family. I'm gradually working my way up to that. For now I stick to what i do best, running. Same here, I figured the race would end up with the two of them going head to head in the end. Chrissie just has that something special that doesn't come along very often. I really really hope that one day these triathlete's get the recognition they deserve.

@TheSarahbee24 Thanks got my first 70.3 next year, looking forward to it. With triathlon i feel getting fit is the relatively easy part, got to have the nutrition and the equipment you know. I have a half marathon to do in 2 weeks, yeah i like to run aswell. Happy injury free training ;-)
