  • @DecentMan4you thank you

  • hi i search to buy this model ...sale this

  • @Shurbovi If you are interested in these parts send me another comment ok?

  • @Shurbovi Oh WOW Bulgaria that is kinda far from me , You might be better off going to ebay and buying one of these from China or Hong Kong - like I did - - This is the Only One - Out of over Several Hundred Boomobx's I have bought from EveryWhere - that arrived broken

  • oh dam, sorry to see that.

I bought a very mint gf 777 while in the U.K. And took it home to New Zealand, It went through with my baggage on 3 different planes and was fine. I found that very thick polystyrene from a new t.v or computer packaging works really good. Thick polystyrene takes alot of impact.

  • whats! the transformer was melted?

  • @Romanoffize No ... the transformer was mounted - is what; I said... When this arrived - The transformer Broke off it's circut - board that it is attached to containing the powersupply full wave bridge and other circuitry as I show in this video ... at the very beginning ...

  • What a nice radio, but wow, what a dumb thing for a manufacturer to do with the power supply. It wouldn't have killed them to separate the supply board and transformer. You should modify that so that won't happen again. What also could have contributed to the broken power supply was years of moving the radio around.

  • so how to pack those boxes to avoid such thing to happen?

  • Use enough Large Bubble Wrap to allow this to Bounce if droppped - at least about 6 inches all around for a box this size an heft. If you pack your own boombox Very Well and then pick it up to say about six feet off the ground and drop it on a hard surface and it still works - then that's a good packing job & if it break's well it's still your's to fix again :-) I recommend double boxing whenever possible with a layer of bubble wrap or peanuts in between ! More bubble wrap the Better !!!

  • What a shame. Did you get refunded?

  • No I didnt as by the time I had gotten round to it, the time had passed to file a claim, oh well, I didnt pay too much for this, no big loss. this is one of the few that I have recieved broken due to shipping - I thinks about 4 so far out of the several hundred that i have presently - you should watch my [ boombox collection ] video on here I posted Febuary 2009 on here ...

  • You'll get a whack over the head with a big leather wellington boot.

  • Yeah well no worries here & besides my boot's are quite large ( 14's ) to begin with and they would have to be very tall to get to my height to do any

  • Picture's added 09 August 2009 in the ( more info ) section upper right in this page - Carefull! these picture's are fullsize unlike the restriction's placed upon me by that other place ...
