The first thing is that no one is good no not one. we have all broken Gods laws. So everyone that is good will be in heaven. God is the onlyone that is good. The only way we can geting into heaven is if Jesus pays our fine for our law breaking.

How did I go from not believing to a Christian? This did not happen in a day. It was a slow process that probably started when I was 18 years old. The longer I am on the earth and see things happen and the more I read the Bible the more I see the Bible as true.

If you read the ESV which is a more word for word translation is says "tested" and not temped. God tested his faith before he used him. The NIV says tested. King James version says tested. Infact every version on biblegateway says test. What Bible do you have?

There are no contradictions in the Bible. If you would read those passages you would understand why. I did not always belive. I became a Christian about 2 years ago. Before then I thought the stories where just Moral tales.

if you look at the context of each of these you will see that they are not talking about the same things. If you pull out a verse out of its context then of course you will come to these conclusions. To read the Bible and understand you must ask. "What did this mean to those people at that time?" Then you will know what it is saying.
in Job 7:13 That means that who ever goes to Hell can not come back. I have an ESV which is the best translation and it says. "As the cloud fades and vanishes, so he who goes down to Sheol does not come up."

and also, it continualy stated that the earth is a circle. a circle is 2 dimensional. a sphere is 3 dimensional. it is also stated that there are edges or ends to the earth. you can say that its just a saying, but that saying actually started with the bible. there are also "pillars of the earth", pillars cant really hold up a sphere, and if they did you wold be able to see them on the sphere. if it was a circle and we were on the top and the pillars on the bottom, we couldnt see them.

some people have proposed that light was much quicker in the past. If so, light could traverse the universe in only a fraction of the time it would take today. It is an assuption that light always traveled at the same speed.

They have more copies of the Bible than any other ancient text. I do not know the exact numbers but it is in the 100's. Most other text they only have 1. All the copies of the Bible are the same. They have copies of the Torah and the other old testiment book from before Jesus and they are the same as it is now.

70 AD The apostals would be 70 years old. So they could still be alive when they were written.

and it says the holy spirit, jesus, and god are one, and that is explaned in the quote i and my father are one. but then he goes on to say that his father is greater then him. that is deffinently a contradiction, even you cant deny it

I do not know why you think it means an entirely different spieces. And for the punishing thing you do realize that God became man and took your punishment. You can choose not to go to hell. You can accept Jesus as your Lord and Savoir and believe that he died for your sins. Mercy grace and no Hell.

i know jesus existed, and he may have died on the cross, but i dont think he was really the son of got, or that his sacrafice did anything. and you said you once thought that the bible wasnt real (which means ur goin to hell) but then it was because of a story. this means you never truly were athiest, you cant be scared of something you dont believe in. and it means a new species because the bible is full of crap like that

i know that if you dont punish people, they will probably continue to do things, but that is if you punish them directly after they do them. it is different to punish people for everything bad they ever did after they die, because not only does that not let them stop doing bad things, but you cant teach others a lesson with it. and by giant it ment a whole new species, not an abnormaly tall man

Gen 22:1 states " And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham." yet James 1:13 states "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man."
Ex. 20:13 Thou shalt not commit murder.
Ex. 32:27 Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, put every man his sword by his side...and slay every man his brother...companion..neighbor.

If you read the ESV which is a more word for word translation is says "tested" and not temped. God tested his faith before he used him. The NIV says tested. King James version says tested. Infact every version on biblegateway says test. What Bible do you have?

i have another question. christans believe the earth is 6000 ears old, but that wou;d be impossable. if god created the whole universe and earth only a few days apart, then why can we see certin stars that are so far away it took millions of years for their light to reach us? in fact, how did god create stars on day one, but light on day 4?

I believe the tallest man on record is Robert Pershing Wadlow and was 8feet 11 inches all. I would think he was a Giant if I saw him. one of the latin translations does say unicorn. If there are unicorns in the Bible they must be true. There are Dinasours in Job.

The trinity is 3 distinct persons in one.
Holy Spirit, Jesus and God.
She is his Half sister. Deuteronomy is a law created after Genisis. It was not a law then.

i got them from a website, and dont tell me you bought into that whole atheists are angry at god thing, or they were affected in some way. its not that i dont want to believe in the bible, its that i dont because its mostly fairytales.
p.s. you havnt replied to all the contradictions. the bible cant be taken seriously if there is only one.

There are no contradictions in the Bible. If you would read those passages you would understand why. I did not always belive. I became a Christian about 2 years ago. Before then I thought the stories where just Moral tales.

if you look at the context of each of these you will see that they are not talking about the same things. If you pull out a verse out of its context then of course you will come to these conclusions. To read the Bible and understand you must ask. "What did this mean to those people at that time?" Then you will know what it is saying.

in Job 7:13 That means that who ever goes to Hell can not come back. I have an ESV which is the best translation and it says. "As the cloud fades and vanishes, so he who goes down to Sheol does not come up."
