Boy would that ungrateful cur have come in for a verbal dressing down from me. My dad was an Royal Canadian Air Force veteran ,and a Merchant Marine veteran, and I won't tolerate any disrespect to our veterans or serving members. Period.
my father lost a friend in the navy, his plane crashed on the deck and when my father found out it was bad, my father saw it happen, they both served my dads still liven. my uncle served, and due to my uncle getting married im related to Robert e lee. my family is full of vets, who either served or tried and was medically discharged.i honor the fallen.
Every time I listen / watch it I keep thinking of the disrespectful kid from my high school you said, "why should we respect those who wanted to die" ( course that resulted badly for him)
Thank you dad and all others who have put their lives on the line to help save and protect their nations <3
Amen to all who have fallen, and let them see that their death was not in vain nor will what they did through out their time serving for their land be forgotten <3
I am an American Vet and proud of that. This song although about Canadian Vets is really about us all and I do not care if it was called spam. I believe in the cause of freedom and celebrate veterans no matter what nationality they are.

They served their country with courage and allowed us to live in freedom today. May they be remembered forever, thank you.
Please do not forget those that quietly serve at home in support roles, on ships and planes on our coastline, and in the schools which prepare men and women to become vets. It takes the whole team to field a regiment or put a ship on station and ensure the planes fly. As for the 36, because our vets continue to serve they have freedom of speech and we have the freedom to ignore them.

a beautiful song showing dignity for our country, Canada, our true north strong and free. thousands of brave young soldiers fought and died for the freedom that is throughout this gorgeous land we call home. and may we never forget the strength and courage that these men and women had, and still hold. may we go through our lives remembering and honoring the soldiers that loved there country so much that they were willing to die for it. lest we forget
Let's NOT forget... ANY of it: The raw barbarity of "just following orders", the manipulation of millions for the ambitions of a handful, the appeals to "the Flag", the inner strength of those who said, this isn't just; and I'm not going there"...
I see, basically, a powerful self-righteousness butting heads with a possible self-serving headstrong "other"... or maybe I'm seeing a "straw man" as a foil for a bit of "might makes right" diatribe. ^..^
@yeagerkid its so that all of us can say thankyou in our own way, everyone has a different view of the war and to some saying thanks for 2 minutes is not good enough, and only in someones imagination can the impossible be possible, so the 2 minutes is for you to remember what happened and why we're here.

How can ANY ONE not be moved to remember the reason for observing two minutes of time... you'd have to be heartless and undeserving of the freedoms we are privileged with.
I heard this song in elementary on rememberance day and i am starting an annual thing to listen to this every rememberance day. Rest in Peace our friends and family who never came back... *sniff*
I love how all these comments are all about good thing, I really respect for all the soldiers who helped us create peace and giving us the freedom we have today... THANK YOU TO ALL THE SOLDIERS WHO FOUGHT FOR US, dead or alive

The Russian Hind 6 helicopter was featured in the Rambo 3 movie. I am Canadian born Pakistani and I really love Canada's effort in bringing peace worldwide unlike sending troops just for some useful war. Always remember the fallen
We had a Remembrance day ceremony at school today and during the 2 minutes of silence, I watched some jerk who thought listening to lil' wayne was more important than honouring those who fought for our freedom. It reminded me of this video
People at my school don't understand why I cry when I listen to this song... Because I remember my grandfather. He fought in WWII for Canada, and was sent home with a paralyzed arm that would forever be in the shape of him holding his gun when the German tank fired.
He always said to remember, and never forget what his friends died around him for. Freedom.
This song always has, and always will make me cry.
Thank you, Terry Kelly, for say what we could not, especially in this beautiful way.
I can't thank the soldiers enough. This song was played at my school and most of my friends cry, and I don't blame them. I know a lot of there grandparents or great grandparents were part of this war, and this just brings back the memories you had with them and just want to hug them, just one more time. You don't know how much these soldiers have had an impact on our lives and how we are able to play and have fun, without having to be dragged to war like them.
How can I ever thank all the soldiers? I feel like just remembering them is not enough.
But i guess all I can say for now is thank you. Thank you for giving me a life with freedom and joy. Every single soldier will ALWAYS be remembered forever.
It's hard to believe that anyone would dislike this video. I'd like them to see how much pain this people had for us and how much they suffered. If they can't respect the soldiers, they can't be respected.
Why must we all kill each other? Why must things be solved with war? Why can't we have peace? So many lives are lost and if the world could just get along and put an end to the fighting no more lives would be lost.
This song makes me cry every time i listen to it. Please have enough respect to take 2 minutes out of your day to remember what all of the soldiers have done for us. Lest we forget, 11.11.18
today when i was at school there was a kid who was a dick and in the song it says god forgive me for wanting to spite himgod forgive ne for doing actualy it

i had to tell two sets of kids off at my ceremony in the center of my town, one kid thought he was cool for wearing his earphones. i ripped them out of his ears. and another group of little grade nines thought it would be fine to talk constantly. i told them "SHOW SOME DAMN RESPECT FOR THOSE WHO DIED FOR YOU"
im canadaian and today at school we had an assembly where a group of students put on a short play about the aborginial soilders who faught for canada. how even though people were against them joining the war they had the higest enlistment rate of any group in canada. today I rembered did you?
this is a beautifull song it just as thought how lucky we are and i feel so sorry for the people wh died in the war other people didnt have as much courage as they did an aleast hey stood up for us aleast they died with courage the other 34 people wouldnt be as stroung to leave there family and fight in a war but they did r i p soulders ou derserve it xxxx
I made this a tradition for myself. Every year just before and right after 11 o'clock, I play this. Taking 2 minutes at 11 in between. Lest we forget!
I swear to god... If I ever meet the 34 Dislikers; they'll regret ever even listening to this... It makes me sick how society is going into A rut, where people are starting to lose respect for the heros and people who died for them.
Holy Crap. This song is so SAD but Beautiful. This song is Canadian for the Canadian Soldiers of OLD and NEW and who risked their lives to keep Canada the way it is today. As it Says at 11:00am on the 11th Day of the 11th Month and the 11th Year aka 11/11/11. Take two minuets in the moment of Silence to remember the soldiers who fought for our Country. We Salute you soldiers of Canada, US, Britain and Anywhere else their was war.
I respect those canadians who put their lives on the line to protect their homeland I will never forget their sacrifices I will be posting a video for remembrance day hope u all watch it ^^ and remember to respect those who gave their lives for us
I keep a reminder in my calendar to take the time to watch this video every Veteran's Day. I thank my Canadian neighbors for the service they have provided around the globe to preserve liberty and freedom. From a North Dakotan who appreciates my neighbors to the north.
Boy would that ungrateful cur have come in for a verbal dressing down from me. My dad was an Royal Canadian Air Force veteran ,and a Merchant Marine veteran, and I won't tolerate any disrespect to our veterans or serving members. Period.

Rest in peace, strong soldiers..

How can I ever thank all the soldiers? I feel like just remembering them is not enough.
But i guess all I can say for now is thank you. Thank you for giving me a life with freedom and joy. Every single soldier will ALWAYS be remembered forever.
Lest we forget.

It's hard to believe that anyone would dislike this video. I'd like them to see how much pain this people had for us and how much they suffered. If they can't respect the soldiers, they can't be respected.

Lest we forget. My heart is with the vets today.
Why must we all kill each other? Why must things be solved with war? Why can't we have peace? So many lives are lost and if the world could just get along and put an end to the fighting no more lives would be lost.
