La voix et la musicalité sont sublimes, comme toujours. Dommage que le contre-ut indiqué pianissimo par Verdi soit chanté fortissimo...mais c'est ce que font 90% des chanteuses dans cette page.

what a magnificient voice, HUGE and yet sweet, agile, perfectly rounded and under control. I just love this singer. Wish only that there were more recordings of her and ones that are good quality like this one. I like Maria Callas and Tebaldi in this kind of role, but now that I hear this singer I realize that the ultimate performances remained hidden for decades from us in the USA.

She was a natural. Studied voice for only 1 year before making her debut as Aida at the age of 19! Unbelievable.
