Hehe, I love how the story uses ballet to express the characters emotions more detailed and clear, and how that the main idea must have been on a whole different scale than everyone falling in love and dating/getting married lol. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond, but I knew I wouldn't be able to sum up this series and do it justice, so I put writing back off until I could search for a decent summary.

This series is called Princess Tutu and it is one of the best underrated anime series out there (the name does it an injustice). Here's a synopsis I found on the web, but let me tell you, the series is probably x100 better than whatever you will read can make it sound. Please check it out! =)

"A duckling encounters an emotionless prince one day and yearns to help the prince regain his heart. To this end she is transformed into a human girl by a strange man, with one rule: anytime she acts in a ducklike manner, she returns to being a duck, and can then only return to human form by getting wet...

In her human identity as Ahiru, she attends a ballet school where she strives to become a ballerina while searching for a way to help her "prince," a male student named Mytho. Though other senior students seem to obstruct her path and dance instructor Mr. Cat constantly threatens to make her marry him, the normally-inept Ahiru has a secret weapon: she can transform into the magical Princess Tutu, whose dancing and magical abilities help recover shards of Mytho's heart...

"The surface is everything but someone can see through that" with the mirror and Fakir crying before Duck!Ahiru was very fitting too. XD You did a really great job with the story! That line about the surface was actually, I believe, one of the few scenes that made it through from my initial concept. Thank you! >_< I was so worried it was going to be one of those "...what?" amvs. Haha, because I'm the insanely competitive person that I am, your great amvs made me want to do a lot better and get more serious about it. And the subs work beautifully (though they don't exactly agree with WMM...)

^^ i like how the tone of the song changes. the scene that you used with the fakir dancing the ghost knight was particularly well placed and timed. i liked the scenes you chose that were sepiaed, although i wasn't really sure why they were like that; i was a tad confuzzled. and i like how tutu walking away reverted back to normal color. the artist was a tad hard to hear at points and some parts were a tad rushed, but overall, really nice video, no subtitles! (yay.) and REALLY cute ending! ^^
