My P3600 suffer from the same problem after 10 or 15 minutes of operation. This problem is covered by the TMN support(Portuguese GSM operator) they have to change the Touchscreen board
Can you not upgrade the firmware. You can do it online I would think at HTC. Or get new firmware flashed where you bought it. It is definitely a software problem.
not a software problem it is a problem with the motherboard. I have had several ROM versions on my phone and it continues to happen. In getting MOBO replaced - hopefully
does anyone know how to by pass the password screen to reactivate teh htc trinity?

i have a p3600 but i never experienced that problem....maybe its because i put wm6
PS. I have it for 1 month and never had any problem. Except that the color is getting out from the sides.... :(

It is not a software problem, it is a motherboard problem.
Many of the service outlets will just pflash a new rom, but that doesn't solve the problem.
When they replace the motherboards, though, that seems to solve it.
