A gnostic atheist would not believe in God and also claim that one doesn't exist. An agnostic theist, on the other hand, would believe in a God (or gods) but wouldn't make claims of certainty. And so on.

If someone simply believed in a creator at the beginning of the universe, I would still say there is not enough evidence to hold that belief, but I really wouldn't have a problem with it. Agnosticism/gnosticism applies to what you KNOW. Atheism/theism to what you BELIEVE. So I don't believe in a God or gods but I don't claim to know. A gnostic atheist would not believe in God and also claim that one doesn't exist. An agnostic theist, on the other hand, would believe in a God (or gods) but wouldn't make claims of certainty. And so on.

If someone simply believed in a creator at the beginning of the universe, I would still say there is not enough evidence to hold that belief, but I really wouldn't have a problem with it. Also, the arguments you mentioned (watch analogy, complexity, etc.) have all been countered quite easily. I advise you to check out the Iron Chariots wiki, it's a very informative collection of both atheist and theist arguments and it points out the logical fallacies in weak arguments.
