I had a pitbull black lab, and you have to socialize them with other dogs and people. And yes, once they are full grown, they think that it's okay to sit on your lap while you're driving. Mine was also afraid of water and would panic while swimming and try and get on top of someone because she was scared, so don't let them in deep water around children. And chewing as a puppy is normal for any dog, it's called teething, just like a baby. If a dog is aggressive, it's the owners fault.

I have one that is 100 pounds of pure muscle. She hates cats, killed a deer. and Destroyed the neighbors dog in a fight when it was getting to close to our westie. It will be a excellent guard dog. Just beware they think they are lap dogs and love to cuddle.

At the animal shelter I volunteer at, there's five lab pit-bull puppies. They are the sweetest things ^.^ Messy lil turds tho >.< but that means i get to spend more time with them!!

Great looking dog. i have a Black Lab/Pit mix as well and he is probably the best dog i have ever owned. He has the same white marking on his belly and has the signature big head and broad shoulders as all pits do. Kodi looks just like my dog when he was younger.

the biting is just 'teething' that all puppies go through. get him something to chew on. do not invite him to chew on your fingers. pits are NOT mean.
