The clock display is called "Multimedia Mode" or "Dock Mode". When the Droid is placed into a Docking Station, it will change the user interface to look more like a clock radio with access to weather, music, photos, dimmer light, and an alarm clock. The ezeStand will automatically activate this mode even if you have an aftermarket cover or case. Visit us at our website for more info. Thanks!
