  • @dham99 Thank you... Went wingless with the SS so we threw it on the Cav for a lil while... it wasn't on there long anyways, lol. It's long gone, as is the turbo setup... new build happening in the future, with a different engine. I pieced together every component of the turbo setup... HKS SSQV BOV, Tial 38 mm WG, Garrett T3/T04B 60-1 turbo, custom exhaust, Tullos Tech EBC, etc... lol.

  • @stl161 We made it ourselves, we bought some stainless steel mandrel bends and straights and welded it ourselves.

    It has hybrid LT1/V8 spring swapped lifters and complete upgraded valve train (JBP valve springs, cromoly locks & retainers, Howell Auto push rods, stainless steel valves)... The lifters quieted down a lil after this video.. motor is still running strong over 3 years later. The aggressive slope of the cam lobes seems to add to the effect of the already noisy valve train 'd motor.

  • @AzulKav im going to hook up my grand marquis with the mustang engine so im getting rid of my cavalier...im thinking some kid going to school would love to buy a car that already got all the goodies on it,,,,i have a set of proform roller rockers for her but and the howell automotive pushrods,,,i would have to find them,,,do you know anyone in orlando or close that would buy it???? it runs like a top with the fuel filter fixed,,,its got the one it came with 175,000 milers ago,,,,lol

  • man i dont know wy yall trick out this cars with turbo i got no turbo just cams, oversized high pressure pistons, injectors, aluminum head, headers strait pipe and racers diet man this car smokes cobras none of this turbo crap turbos r for broke people

  • You obviously don't know much at all about vehicle mechanics. N/A motors can be fairly powerful, but it will never have the same capabilities that the same motor built for boost, will have.

  • @ntl915 Yeah dude, turboing surely isn't cheap! There are cheap turbo's out there, but my turbo kit is a T3 turbo that set me back 3k with everything, Also put in low comp pistons, eagle billet aluminum rods, 550cc fuel injectors, press regulator, hi flo pump, P & P, new valves, rock roller arms, full 2.5" exhaust, 58mm throttle body, MSD ignition system, and HPtuners tuning module. All said and done my set up puts me right at 409hp, 424ft-lbs torque, and set me back $9k.

  • @ntl915 especially when your pushing 15-20lbs of boost you HAVE to build the engine so you don't blow it out. Turbos are not just for the cheap and stuipid, although, admittedly there are alot of idiots out there that get their hands on turbos, and either blow their engine, or don't really put down much extra power as a result of bad tuning, or neglecting to tune things in.

  • @SuperFluffyfluff Aw thanks. It is still together, that same motor still runs like a champ, just back to n/a... stay tuned, I have a huge build planned with an engine swap when I move back to the US & pull it out of storage! =]

  • ya those cavaler are good but i have a 03 cavalier with a colbolt ss motor in it witch is just the ecotec supercharges

  • you do realize the supercharged cobalts have supercharged 2.0 ecotec not the cavalier 2.2 ecotec

  • It is a 2002 cav with an almost completely built 2200. The exhaust ends at the resonator currently, not finished yet, in this video. (no muffler is on, and it is staying that way).

    The Cam is a JBP "Turbo" Cam.

  • What Brand of cam did you put in it?
